I think he cut it before the party, clearly could not wait to get that over with!

I would hope that the only exceptional things happening tonight were extended cheering and applause when the departing cast members came out and then the crowd singing the da-das, which Rory seemed to enjoy. If there's people doing other obnoxious things during the show (woo-ing at other times, singing to anything other than this particular moment) then obviously that's overstepping theatre etiquette. But that's just my opinion.

To change the subject: I'm putting $

In most other circumstances I would agree with you guys but I think it's a bit of a special night, no? Anyway, sorry I brought it up, didn't mean to start negativity in the thread!

Literally watched the movie last night (and listened to the cast recording after for the first time) and my immediate thought was if this had been discussed on these boards. At first I thought perhaps his character is a foil to Earl...but really that's not the case either. Think I'm going to go hunting the web for some think pieces on the matter.

what set it off was the fact that there were so many replacements this matinee...one girl in the line got a premium and then went back and returned it.. and from what I pieced t

July 7th Thurs, matinee for Hamilton?

Thanks.

The only in person lotteries are for the Wednesday matinees. So if there's a lottery it will be online.

They accept cash and credit and while you can try to connect to the theatres wifi, it sucks. At least it didn't work well for me.

Please do not spend the money on the show it is not worth it and it is something you can deffintely sit on until Lin leaves. The show is great but not worth anywhere near what resale is going for even 5 mins before show time. As someone who just spent 4 days in the cancellation line, just wait it out. It's going to be around for a long time. Again please do not buy into the scalpers false hype of this show

You just invested almost 100 hours

I saw the show on May 2, and I only had to wait nine and a half hours (no line sitter)!!  I can't even imagine waiting out there now for 50+ hours!!  Props to all those folks sticking it out!  That type of wait is a young persons game now!!  LOL!"

I honestly can't believe the luck with our timing. We had originally hired a line sitter and then they did the big rule change the Thursday before our show we wanted to see,

So, the catch is, I already have two tickets to see the show July 15. But I really wanted to see Lin, so I was planning to do the line and sell my tickets...but now I wonder if I'll even get in, and if the average wait is over 48 hours. What do you guys think?! Will I be happier just seeing it July 15 with who knows who the actors will be? Do I risk waiting in line for two nights before I have to go back to Virginia?

@pieces2 at this point I think it's a crapshoot. If you are worried about "wasting" 24 hours I honestly wouldn't recommend the line because anything could happen. There's no way at this point you could be 95% sure that you'd get tickets with a 24 hour wait, even for a two show day.

@sydney16 the line seems to consistently have at least 20 people in it these days. So as safe as sleeping on a New York City sidewalk with 20 other Hamilfans could be. When i&

Nope, no guarantee of SRO tickets. They are saved as both lottery tickets on some nights as well as the tickets that cast and crew can give to friends and family.

Why would they care about being recognized in the line? I think they cared more that you tried getting the box office involved when they were not breaking rules.

Sorry, but in my opinion the line sitters aren't doing anything wrong by getting premium tickets and then delivering them to their clients..they aren't breaking any of the rules. The rule that states you have to go straight into the theatre after purchasing a ticket clearly refers to the tickets that are released minutes to show time, not the premium tickets released earlier in the day. Not sure why you'd raise a stink when they are behind you...

All I have to say is THANK GOD I went last week...there is no feasible way we could have waited any longer than the 17 hours we waited. Happy for everyone who got in tonight!

I can't remember exactly but it was either 6 or 7am I believe. Either way it was early! The nice thing about those lounge seats is that they unclip and can fold out into like a mini mattress pad, and then you can lean back in it comfortably when it's clipped up. I swear by them for all sorts of things
