I have to agree with JB Singer. Metropolis can be abit of a chore to sit through. But it is worth getting if only for the marvellous Judy Kuhn who I think was nominated for the Olivier award that year. The big duet (It's Only Love/Bring On the Night) is fabulous and remains one of my top 5 love songs. Unfortunately for every sensational song, you have to sit through a monotonous dirge (101.11), a weird twiddley bit (Futura's Theme) or an Emperor-Ming-from-Masters-of-the-Universe type pronounc...
