Nice to see Cusick contuing with the show, though he is missed in NYC. It is sad to see Jenna Green heading back to the West Coast... she will be sorely missed in NYC!

I was there today! Oh my goodness, Megan died her hair a light brown/reddish and she looks gorgeous! Eden sang beautifully! Megan sand beautifully! Stephen, Marc, Winnie, Megan, Eden, Stephen O. were all there! The people at the autograph table though, were a little persnickety exclaiming at the TOP of their lungs "YOU MAY ONLY GET ONE THING SIGNED BY EACH PERSON!" I understand that there were a lot of people waiting to get something signed but I mean c'mon. The line was NOT moving THAT fast. And for those interested in Megan's brown hair, here is a picture of me and her:

Wish I could have witnessed THAT rarity. I just don't like Ms Espinosa as a performer. her voice is gratinga nd she is only cerncerned with herself onstage it seemed. There is no give.. no exchange... she is completely encompassed by her "I am Eden, hear me screech" mantra.

I was there as well. The best part for me was to see them being accompanied by Stephen Schwartz. That was pretty special to witness.

I took some videos of the soundchecks. Thanks, Broadwayguy2, for reminding me why I shouldn't bother posting them.

Got a little sunburned out there, but it was fun :)

To tell you the truth broadwayguy2, I completely agree with your statement. I have not liked her in the past, and I was left cold by her performance in San Francisco. BUT I will say that she was DEAD ON today. I guess the fact Channel 7, and a whole bunch of other camera crews were there built up her drive to perform well. Megan was the highlight though.

And I also forgot to mention that Stephen Schwartz was there and played the accompinament to the three songs the girls sang.

Also on another note, Megan was extremely gracious to everyone she saw and Eden was as well. She(Eden) was being interviewed and there were a bunch a people waiting to get their stuff signed from her behind the barricade where she was talking to the reporter. After she was done she started everything for the people waiting. A security guard kept bugging her to go sit back down but she insisted on signing the things these people wanted her to sign. It wasn't until the very last minute when the security guard literally grabbed her arm and said that she needed to go sit back down at the autograph table. I unfortunately was the last person in this line so when she was pulled away they told the 4 or 5 of us still waiting to leave. Well I gave that security the bird when he wasn't looking and waved bye to Eden as we walked away. She waved back kindly enough.

Well there's that!

Gosh darn it, I didn't! A 14 year old girl wore a cardboard box around her and went as a WICKED playing ipod... how could I compete with that? LOL

I neither dressed up nor sang for a chance at tickets. I've seen it enough times.

EDIT - Yes, that girl actually DID end up winning the tickets, as did another young girl who sang her way to opening night seats. Updated On: 10/30/06 at 06:37 PM

Ok, here are my thoughts on everyone they have announced so far.

Eden- I adore her, but I'm disappointed that she's being recycled. Her singing voice has sounds strained and I think she riffs too much. The voice I hear now is not the voice I fell in love with on June 13, 2004. I wish she would take a longer break vocally and then do something new. Give this girl a Tony already!

Megan- She's a very talented young woman with an incredible vocal range and a bright future ahead of her, so I would also like to see her do something new. I feel she could do better as Glinda. She overacts too much. She screams so much during Popular that it hurts my ears. She doesn't seem to get that *trying* to be funny isn't appealing.

Kristoffer- He's quite good in Act 2, but in Act 1 he's too bland and feminine. He doesn't have much charisma. When I saw him and Eden together in Act 2 on understudy they, they did have good chemistry, so that should be fun.

Carol- She's a talented and charismatic actress. I like her in other stuff, but I think she's completely miscast as Madame Morrible.

Jenna- She is my favorite Nessarose and I'm glad she's joining the cast. I love her and I can't get enough of her.

Adam- I'm glad they got someone new. I hope he's good.

Timothy- I think he's definitely the weakest Dr. Dillamond. I'm sure he's talented, but he's miscast.

Me too. Megan has a huge range and could be very versatile. I was really hoping she would move on from this.

so basically most of the main characters are being recycling with people that have already played the role before...i guess they can't find other people.

i don't think they realize that people are coming to see WICKED, to people that really truly want to see the show, it doesn't matter that Megan Hilty or Eden's even in it...

i know everyone will miss Jenna in New York, but she's probably very happy about joining the L.A. cast considering i believe she's from California. Anyways, best of luck to the cast!
