I know Foster is a huge LuPone fan, she's probably begging for the role. I'm not a big fan of hers, but of the names thrown out so far, she's my favourite.

Anderson would've been great as Louise...not so sure if she could make a bealivable transformation into the bombshell stripper though. Did she decline, jewishboy?

I think Benanti is just too old (and miscast indeed) to play Louise, I mean, come on!
Foster reads young-ish on stage so she'd be great. Hathaway is the most suitable choice for the role out of the names that have been thrown out, I can't think of anyone who'd be able to master both acts as well as Hathaway.
Jen Cody should stay away from the stage, she is such an annoying performer.
If they decided to go for color-blind casting, which I know EVERYONE but me would criticize, I'd love to see Anika Noni Rose in the role.

Anything that gets Laura Benanti on stage makes me happy.
I tend to trust Ilovetheatretrash, but I hope he's wrong.
