I tried the lottery about two weeks ago (and lost) and there were people on the SRO line with sleeping bags. No idea when the all got there...but going by that, I'm assuming early.

Thanks, JenD . . . I'm planning to take an early train in, so I hope I can sneak in there for at least 1 standing room ticket!

Saw the show last Friday (bought a cancellation line ticket @18.15 after a three hour wait). People were lining up around 15.00 for standing as well. So better be there around that time if you want to be sure...

BUMP!! Now that the colder weather is setting in, is there any less of a wait? Considering going next Wednesday (the 21st) for the matinee and am planning to get there between 9 and 9:30. Is this too late or has anyone seen it lately on a Wednesday? Yes, I'm aware this is close to the holidays, but it is still a week earlier than many breaks so I think it may only be slightly busier. Thanks for your help!

But the college kids will all be on break...it's likely to be crazy.

I did lotto yesterday and although the lotto crowd was maybe 10% smaller than usual, the standing room line looked the same as it always is.

I was fortunate enough to get SRO again this past Wednesday for the evening show. I think due to the cold weather the line was short when I opted to join the line at 4:45pm. It also helped that three couples in front of me ended up winning lottery tickets, otherwise I don't think I would have gotten a spot. But most colleges will be done by this weekend, so the lottery/SRO should be crazy for the next 5 weeks or so regardless of the weather. And apparently during the Halloween eve snow storm, people were still lining-up early for SRO. I have to wonder if it snows during Christmas/New Year's week if people will still get there early with their tents & sleeping bags.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Har har. They don't exist.

Texas and Emily: People were lining up around 9:30 when I asked around last week (I forget when, but it was a weekday). That was for the evening show. Not sure how it was today or yesterday, though.

TexanAddams, Yes!! I went last Wednesday (it was a two show day). I got there around 2:05 and was the 5th person in line, the first 3 tried to get the matinee, but missed out. I'd say as long as you're there by 3, you're fine. And remember, this was during the Christmas/ New Years week, so it was probably even busier than usual.

I'm looking at going on Saturday the 14th for the Matinee and I'm hoping that some of the college students will be on their way back to school that weekend, if I get there at like 8:00- 8:30 do you guys think I'll be able to get tickets for the matinee?

Hello all, I'm going to be in NYC on Sat 1/21 and want to try for the BOM evening show as it'll likely be my only chance to see it. Are you all saying you need to start lining up as early as 9:30am for that, or between 1 and 3? I'm dying to see this show but I'm not sure I want to spend half my Saturday waiting in line.

My plan is to try for lottery, then SRO for Book of Mormon, and if I don't get either of those, to run over to Anything Goes rush as back up. Once I know whether or not I'd be getting tickets to BOM, would I have the time to get to the AG box office for rush or would those tickets likely be gone by then? Thanks so much for your advice.

I got standing room tickets in December, for a Tuesday night performance. I got there at 11 am, and was first in line. The next person got there around 12, and the bulk of the line got there between one and two. The guy operating the lottery gives cards to the people in the standing room line, which is drawn 2 hours before curtain. I hope this is helpful!

Thank you! How many people were in line by the time the lottery started? I'd expect it to be a bigger crowd for Saturday night, and I guess only the first 25ish people get SRO tickets?

I didn't get a proper count, but there were certainly more people in line than tickets available.

When does school go back?

Will be there in mid Feb and was looking to buy a prem ticket, but alias all sold out. Is there an aage cut off for the lottery?
Colder weather will keep people away yes?

Or does the cancel line work?

Thanks for the help

Hey all. I'm heading to NYC next Friday (the 27th) and a friend and I are hoping to do the SRO line. Last time I was planning to head down Irene dashed my dreams! Anyone know how early we should go to (try to) guarantee a spot? I was hoping the cold weather would deter people but it doesn't sound like it.
