To her credit, while Lenox may have an impressive theatrical pedigree in her own right, Ralph surely has more name recognition (and some ignificant stage credits herself.)

I think Karen Ziemba is so interesting to watch, always exciting. I am glad she is in it
Really, I was looking forward to hearing Lenox' singing voice on stage again, and I think she can be really funny. I just think overall is a pretty blah cast, especially given the way they were going (Carmello, Gasteyer, and LaChanze). I can't believe this is the cast they ended with.
So many actresses seemed to have dropped out of the project, I too wonder how good/bad the show is.
Sheryl Lee Ralph is not a great choice and her voice is no longer as strong as it once was.
The official press release says that Lenox left the show "due to health concerns."

I sincerely hope she's okay.
I read that earlier, somethingwicked. I'm hoping it's nothing serious and that Lennox is able to recover nicely and grace us with her presence on Broadway soon enough, and hopefully in a musical as I rather enjoy her singing.
The show had its press day a few days ago in San Diego. This looks to be the first photo of the wives.
The First Wives Photo
thats the press photo?
Im not loving that photo...they all look asleep and have no chemistry or dynamic presence. Plus, Walsh, her hair is a MESS with split ends. Who was the stylist? Ralph looks uncomfortable, almost pained. Who released that....not good.
Looks like one shot from the session. It isn't necessarily *the* photo by the Old Globe's staff photographer and released for promo. Or at least I don't think so.
