depends on what children. Matilda is completely different from school of rock as aladdin is different than Matilda. It depends on which demographic of children.
if you want to take your child to something "magical" you take them to Matilda. If you want to take them to something "fun" you go to school of rock and if you want to take them to an LSD trip of lights and sound and costumes you take them to Aladdin.
all those shows are "for cihldren" it just depends on what child you have.
I meant that Matilda is operating on a much more mature level in terms of pure sophistication in the writing, staging, and ideas.

Broadway Attendance Breaks Records During Holiday Week

I think that is what smokey lady was saying. No?
She said people were staying away, and had the Fool for Love ushers backing her up.
I just went back and read. She didn't say people were staying away. She asked if we thought people were staying away. Two different things.

Smokey Lady specifically said "It usually goes up a lot more according to the chatty ushers at Fool For Love."
Which I was refuting with the link saying attendance was higher than ever. Not sure what's confusing here.
