Live here in Ct. The Bushnell hasn't announced its full season for next year, but they have announced Memphis for January and The Addams Family for February.
For those in Florida, the 2011-12 schedule for the Tampa Straz Center is “The Addams Family” (October 18-23); “Peter Pan” (November 8-13); “A Christmas Story” (December 6-11); “Million Dollar Quartet” (January 3-; “Les Miserables” (January 31- February 12); “La Cage Aux Folles” (February 21-26); “Come Fly Away (March 27- April 1); “Burn the Floor” (April 24-29).
In February 2012 “Memphis,” will play at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.
I don't believe that Orlando, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale or Miami have announced their schedules yet.

American Idiot will definitely be touring. So far LA, Boston, and Tempe will have the show. White Christmas will also tour again around Christmas time.

Boston has a really strong season...thank goodness. They've been doing much better with their bookings as of late... Still not necessarily a hot spot destination for first seasons, but what can ya do?
How to properly use its/it's:
Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...
The Colonial Theatre is now owned by Emerson College, and they did not renew BAA's lease. So far the college is mum on their plans for usage of this gem.
I cannot believe that gem of a theatre will no longer be used for Broadway shows. Tempe's venue, ASU Gammage, is owned by ASU and is on campus. Broadway shows are pretty much the only thing it is used for.

The Colonial will definitely house Broadway shows. Mamie Parris accidentally leaked the 9 to 5 tour stop at the Colonial for Aug 23-28, 2011 but quickly removed it. Hmmm..

If there are no shows booked for the 2011-2012 season at the Colonial then I doubt there will be any Broadway shows playing there. What else could they even have play there this season since they already have everything?
I wonder how Fela! will do on tour. I know if it came as part of the season in my town I would have absolutely no desire to go.

I wonder what New Orleans will get. We're getting Tour premiere of The Addams Family in September and The Lion King in the Spring..hmm. Has anyone heard anything about the New Orleans season?

I am surprised that shows that got critically panned in New York, The Addams Family and 9-5 spring to mind, where a critically acclaimed show, such as Finans Rainbow hasn't bothered touring.
That really makes me hate Emerson even more, LOL. To have the BEST Broadway venue in town and let that happen.
How will Broadway shows play there without BAA? Is EMERSON going to start presenting, too? Gosh. BAA, the Wang Centre (sorry, Citi Centre), and now Emerson? Can Beantown handle three presenters? Maybe back in the early 2000s when shows came and sat for a month at a time or more, but now?
And as for BAA using the Shubert, as someone who tours frequently, and has done the Colonial and the Shubert... I can tell you that NO ONE on a tour going into the Shubert rather than the Colonial will be happy about that.
They might seat the same but the stage at the Shubert is VERY cramped. Expect any shows that play there to "adjust" for their surroundings, and don't expect the "full" tour set.
That's so depressing. I just don't understand why Emerson wouldn't want Broadway shows to tour at their theater? They are definitely hosting 9 to 5, so I'm assuming they're presenting their own shows now. Unless 9 to 5's tour is ending soon due to bad sales, which I wouldn't be surprised about...
EDIT: Hair will continue it's Equity tour at LEAST throughout Spring 2012.

^ Eh it is selling okay I guess. When I went on a Friday night is was not very crowded at all. When I went on Sunday night it was pretty full, but a majority of the season ticket holders attend Sunday night. The show did not get good reviews in my city at all. I don't know how it is doing in other cities.
