Am I the only one who cringes at this thought? Please, dear God, do not let this happen. I've heard so many rumors and I know it's just going to be eaten up with all the Rachel Berry-wannabes... They will so water it down and I will be so mad.

What do you care what kind of fan base this brings? Whatever wannabees know her from Glee, won't have any real prior knowledge of her connection with SA (according the most recent talk of the movie, she won't have anything to do with this).
Will they water it down? Likely. If you aren't going to like it, don't see it -- nothing really to get "mad" about.
(And did this really need it's own thread? Why not just post on the already existing thread about the film?)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
