THE PIRATE (not because it's a great movie; but there is something there well worth exploring further)

They tried. It failed. I saw it at the Prince Theatre in Philadelphia a few years ago.

I know it was done in Europe - but I would love to see an American production of “The Young Girls of Rochefort”.

Mrs Santa Claus with Angela Lansbury featuring music from Jerry Herman was always one of my favorite movie musicals. Since it has a holiday theme, I’m sure that’s what has prevented it from getting up on the stage. It would be a hard sell outside of the holiday season.
