When shows like Avenue Q rake in 300/400k a week, and Wicked rakes in $1m, in terms of percentage, which is making the most profit? Which shows cost the most to run (does anyone know exact figures?) and which is the least?
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
I think that WICKED probably has the highest. It has a large cast, including a few of whom probably make much more than the minimum set by Equity, a large orchestra, a large theatre, and probably a large crew.

I know that PRODUCERS has to make about 600,000-700,00 a week. WICKED, my guess is 700,000 to 800,000. AVENUE Q needs to take in over 200,000. That's about the same a play needs to make, and AVENUE Q is pretty much ranking at a play cost.
