Osbourne Confirmed to be in Hairspray!

Whilst I was watching TRL, they let a new release out. That Kelly Osbourne will be performing in Hairspray as Tracy Turnblad. She is due to join the cast after the summer. MTV has confirmed it, as did Kelly. So I do believe as of now it is not a rumor any longer.

Actually, it would be funny: Ozzy as Edna, Kelly as Tracy, Jack as Link, and Sharon as Prudy. Of course I hope that NEVER happens!

She just said that she was starring in Hairspray, and now that she's done music, and TV, Broadway is like a whole other medium. Something along those lines.

They also said to "Maybe you should look for her in the new movie of Hairspray". Which of course, I believe is entirely rumor and just getting her bumps.

Also...

I'm not saying it's totally reliable... just saying it is what I saw. And I doubt that they would make such a big release to the country/world with this information.

Oh dear. I can picture her in the costume, but I just can't see her doing well. I will say this, though. Hairspray always casts amazing replacements, so I trust them. And I don't think that they would cast anyone terrible in any of the roles.

No! I mean, you can give the girl a chance on Broadway, because that won't be forever, but Marissa Winokur should really have the part in the movie. Or Carly Jibson or Kathy Brier. Because that is something that lasts forever.

Millie, I agree. Carly or Marissa DEFINITLEY get my vote. I like Kelly, but no. Don't do that to something that changed my life forever... Give it to Carly!

As I said, if this info is wrong, I do apologize, especially to Marc, who should then go kick MTV and Kelly's ass.

Which makes me wonder, if she is on Broadway, what will happen to the lovely Carly Jibson? Will she be kicked out of the role which she plays brilliantly just so there will be a "name" in the role? Silly people who always get what they want!

Casting company, Bernard T. has constantly said KO coming onboard isn't true, considering they have just went thru auditions for a new Tracy. But who knows.

I can't believe she is capable of doing ANYTHING on stage. I just can't see her in the role. And I don't think she can handle it....with her lisp & horrible attitude. What are they thinking?
