I found an earlier thread from this message board where they listed good songs and monolouges for auditions, but I'm still having trouble finding a comedic monolouge that I would like to do for my audition to get into the amazing actor training program at my college. Also, I have found lots of comedic monolouges but the reason I don't really like them is I want it to just be funny, not the character telling a story where it just seems like i'm telling the person I'm auditioning for one big joke. I hope that makes sense. Thanks so much for any help anyone can give me. :)
I just went through the same process. I used the coathanger sculpture monologue from You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Another good one is I wish I were a queen from You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.
