And didn't Bach write an Opera about a coffee brewing controversy? Anyone remember the title?
Also, any others?

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

"They've Got An Awful Lot Of Coffee in Brazil".
Not from a show, but a hit for the Andrews Sisters in the 1940s. It was also recorded by Frank Sinatra.

Posted: 7/24/06 at 8:43am"Taylor the Latte Boy" is kind of about coffee... kind of... and it might not even be from a show... but I think it is...

TAYLOR THE LATTE BOY is on Kristin Chenoweth's CD AS I AM.
I *THINK* it was written just for her, not for a show at all. She did many interviews when it came out and during her WEST WING days, and I seem to recall her talking about that song as a "gift to her musical theatre fans" as the rest of the album (besides IT WILL BE ME and THE SONG REMEMEBRS WHEN) are Christian songs.
Still counts IMO

Posted: 7/24/06 at 9:43amIf I remember correctly, I think one of the bonus tracks on the Subways are for Sleeping recording is about a man who delivers coffee to business people for a living. It was a song that was not used in the actual production. I am at work and away from my CD collection so if someone knows please verify. I think it is called "A Man with a Plan".

Posted: 7/24/06 at 3:35pmI have Susan Egan singing it as well. Also, I remember Kristin singing it on rosie a LONG time ago. So maybe it was written for her, but she didnt record it until more recently. But i dont think it was.

Kristin Chenoweth *I believe* was the first to sing this song.
Then others came along like John Tartaglia.
I do not think it was meant to be in a musical and I don't think it has been.
