Hey Everyone.

I am writing a paper for my Arts Management class addressing the issue of the high rising cost of tickets prices and its effects on attendance and blah blah. If anyone could recommend some articles, research, facts/figures you have come across recently or in the past that pertain to this issue that would be great! This post can also be a survey...how much does ticket price effect your decision to see a show or not. Thanks everyone!

I pretty much get Rush or SRO, If they don't offer it I get a discount code or TKTS.

Here are a few links for reports and surveys put out by the League themselves regarding various overall stats pertaining to Broadway:

You should note for your paper that while ticket prices have been increasing year by year and are now at an all-time high, nevertheless attendance has been also been steadily increasing, reaching a high of 12 million last year. So, obviously the high prices don't seem to be scaring audiences away -- just the opposite, in fact.
