Can someone please transcribe for me the monologue Dottie says to Caroline at the end of the show? I'm referring to the one where she says "Change ain't easy but we gotsta do it! etc".
I'm trying to use it in reference to something here at work and I don't have my cast recording (or CD booklet) with me.
I really appreciate it!

DOTTY:
I never seen you so sad.
We known each other all these years.
Caroline, my heart bleed for you,
but folk can't just surrender to their fears.
I know it hurt to change.
It actually hurts, learning something new,
and when you full-grown, it's harder, that's true-
it feel like you got to break yourself apart,
it feel like you got to break your own heart,
but
folk do it. They do.
Every day, all the time,
alone, afraid, folks like you.
You got to let go of where you been.
You got to move on from the place you're in.
Don't drown in that basement. Change or sink.
Let go, forget, move on.
This ain't time for prayin'. You got to think.
you mean sunday morning? right before lot's wife?
i'm at work so i did this ipod'less and from memory. i think it's pretty much all there though.

Caroline:
I'm going to Church
and I'm going to pray.
And from now on, only God hear what I have to say.
Cause only God can hear what my heart mean to state.
When I talk to people, all that comes out is hate.
Cause I hate. That all.
I hate.
I know what I'm doin, Dot.
I need nothin from you.
I want you to go.
Out my yard.
We through.
Dotty:
Well I heard that.
Take care.
I'll get out of your hair.
You go on and pray.
Tell God Dotty say hey.
Tell him I'm doin perfectly fine.
Sure is a pleasant Sunday. Mornin,
Caroline.
Oh thanks....now I want to hear Lot's Wife and it is at home!!!

Now I have to listen too
So chilling, that last "morning Caroline," especially with the mammoth journey that follows.
thank you both so so much for doing that! i think i'm gonna put it on my Livejournal now as my bio. i've just been really feeling this musical so much lately.
Folkyboy, it is one of the best monologues in the show and Chandra Wilson sells it like no one else. She should have been nominated for a Tony.
Her two major scenes in the show are simply genius.
