STRANGER THINGS to transfer to Broadway's Marquis Theatre in spring 2025 Feb 5

I agree withe Totally Effed. Just get there as early as you can. The show has a huge audience and they have started promoting the final season. Wouldn't be surprised if some people get there at like 3:00am.

The BWW Tech Support Thread Feb 4

So it continues...on my Chromebook I started getting a "Performance issue alert" pop up. It says "This tab is using extra resources. To improve your performance, let Chrome make it inactive " Underneath that there is the BWW logo with Broadway Message Board & Forum next to it. Under that, two buttons. One to "dismiss" and one to "Fix now". When this pops up it literally stalls my home wifi. This is ridicul

This Cold Opening sketch was greenlit on Thursday andLin has said that on Friday Lorne Michaels called him and asked if he could appear in the sketch in such short notice, which he obviously said yes to. His HAMILTON costume was brought out of storage and that’s how that appearance took place on SNL. There is no agenda behind his appear

Did not know she had passed. I was lucky enough to see her in Sweeney Todd in 1979.
Wayman_Wong, thank you for posting that interview. It is very good and brought back a lot of memories of that time in the theatre and that time itself.

Yes, the constant ads during the videos are annoying. I just don't watch them anymore.
Also, on my Chromebook, when I go to the off-topic board and click on a thread title, it doesn't open the thread. Just takes me back to the main Broadway Forum. I have to try two or three times to possibly get a thread to open.
Also the ads that now appear right inside the comment boxes are really annoying. That video that runs on the right side of the screen sometimes covers content.<

Yes, in my case, there was a need to announce it on the platform itself.

After Zuck's announcement last week I decided I would delete my Facebook account. It's the only platform I have used. Announced it a few days ago to my friends on there and gave it two days for responses. Deleted my account last night. I went to Bluesky (Opened an account the other day). Some of my friends were already there but still have their other META accounts. I just couldn't stay on Facebook. I found the pages/sites I follow on Facebook over on Bluesky and am following

50th Anniversary Revival of A CHORUS LINE still on track for 2025? Jan 4

I, personally, would not bother to see a gender swap type of revival. I was dying for a COMPANY revival so I could finally see it live onstage (Saw the Doyle revival on video and own it.), but wasn't crazy about the gender switch. Switching just

Kit Connor’s Car Chased By Fan From R&J Stage Door Jan 4

I’ve never heard of Kit Connor before today, and I work in film/theatre. I’m sure you’re right in saying he has an obsessive fan base but the average person has simply never heard of him. Rachel Zegler is famous, not A list yet (certainly not a household name) but becoming reasonably well-known."

AUDRA GYPSY Reviews Dec 27

I was going to ask the same thing.
Was watching Japanese news today and they are reporting a big uptick in influenza throughout all prefectures and Europe seems to be going through it a bit also. It's not just here in the U.S. it seems. It is that time of year but it seems it is hitting harder than usual.

Well here is the CDC influenza map and timeline. I was popping through threads this morning and saw someone post that they have co-workers who have been out for weeks with something that appears to be more than just the regular cold or flu. The poster didn't seem to live in NY as they mentioned traveling to the city. But this flu seems to have hit and spread between December 14th and the 21st. It is high in a lot of states.
