Hey there
Anyone got some great stories from the stage door at Hair? I'd love to see Allison Case, Will Swenson and Gavin Creel - they seem so fabulous. Do the Tribe members take their time with stage door? I'd love to get my Playbill signed when i go!

I was there a few weeks ago. Neither Will nor Gavin came out. But it was the matinee.
Many of the tribe members did. Allison, Shiek, Bryce were among them. They were terribly nice.

Stage dooring for Hair was wonderful
The whole cast is uber sweet!
I didn't get to really meet Gavin because he was out the first time I saw the show which was when I stage doored, but when I saw it the second time yesterday I was in the right box seats, which is where he goes to to sing the Let The Sun Shine curtain call, so when it was over he turned around and shook all our hands and stuff and thanked us for coming- it was sweet <3 (I would have actually stage doored again except that it was gross out and I figured I'll definitely be back so I'll just do it then haha. I definitely do need to meet him for real though! He seems like such a dear)
But yeah, everyone is super nice! Allison is like the cutest person ever, and SUPER friendly. Will's super nice too and seems very laid back- plus, kudos to him for enduring all the whispers of "OMG he is so gorgeous, can we just stand here and stare at him all day?"s whenever he turned his back hahaha. No, jk, of course there was none of that going on *shifty eyes*
Aaand yeah, everyone in the cast is just really cool! And pretty much everyone came out I believe. Maybe not all of the Tribe (though I think at least a few of them did), but definitely all of the more main people

when i stagedoored they were all jerks, and i only got a half of an autograph...allison case snatched my playbill out of my hand, started signing it, looked at me, and then threw it at me.
lol jk. they all sign, incredibly nice. if you spark up a convo with one of them i'm sure they'll stay and chat. a few did with me. and they take pictures, as you can see in my avatar.

They are all incredibly sweet and caring. Most are willing to stop and have conversations and really make connections, not just sign playbills. The times that I have been there almost everyone has stopped except Jackie Burns and Megan Lawrence.
Allison Case also got really upset one time about a thread she saw on these boards that talked about her pubes.

Posted: 5/4/09 at 4:54pmThanks for the advice, I'm super excited to see the show and hopefully get some cracking seats and then meet a few of the cast afterwards at stage door, especially Allison and Gavin! I stagedoored at Xanadu and Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson were fab and from seeing the snippets of The Tribe on youtube and the Hair website, I can't wait to tell them how fab they are and fawn over them like a crazy teenager, even though I'm 30!!

Allison Case is awful. So rude!!!
(Just kidding, she's probably one of the sweetest people EVER.)

Why? She's getting naked in a show. Did she think people were not going to talk about it?
