Mrs. Betty Bowers would suggest that for most people it is an attention-getting device that they use to stroke their own egos.
I'm not saying that's what I think. Just what Mrs. Bowers says.
If a blog falls in the forest...
...and no one reads it...
Perhaps if I refer to myself using the royal 'we' on my blog, it would give the casual reader the appearance that it is more than just me typing all by myself in my lonely room.
Hmmm... I could always offer my services as a 'commenter'.
I wonder if there's a market for that?
You can comment on me any time Addy... :)
Wasn't Blog one of Joan Crawford's last movies?
She played Dr. Blogton, I believe.
I'll comment on that, ck!
Dottie, I do have a blog, on myspace. Just me going on about stuff.
Do people really have time to read about other people going on about stuff?
*rhetorical question*
It's all I can do in a day to check BWW from time to time, and see what all you critters are up to.
(okay, when was the last time any of you were called a "critter?")
EDIT: This is what I get for working on a "kiddie" project at work. I start saying things like "critters!"
Somebody, shoot me now.
I couldn't possibly think of something to blog. Unless it's about how PalJoey thinks I'm other people. I suppose I could blog about that.

Has anyone ever published a blog into a book? Because some of these blogs are such sad sagas.

I would like to thank everyone for contributing so many comments to this web thread. Or "bthread," if you will. I, I mean, we are enjoying it at the house immensly.
Namo.. will you name a blog of the day each day?

I'm not qualified. Life's too short to invest much time on blogs.
However, we as a group could certainly pick a bthread of the day.
Ok. But I think you should get the ball rolling and pick the first one. And since you started the thread you can give us some guidelines to follow as a group in future selections. And just to make sure.. We are talking just blogs.. not sites like "Corines Corner".. right?

What I'm saying is we should pick a BWW bthread of the day.
Ok. How about Margo's?
Dame, I actually just saw a book in Barnes and NOble that was written due to the notice the author got from her blog. I do not think that the book is a literal reprinting of her blog although several of her essays etc. might be included in the book.
And the name of the book is?
Oh and here is Margos blog.
