All I know is that Michelle better be careful...remember the story of the old lady in the shoe...she had so many children, her uterus fell out. Just sayin'
17 of them are age 18 and under- of course they're not questioning their parents while dependent minors. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean none of them will ever decide to live differently as adults.
I must have been an odd child then. There were so many things I wanted to do when I was younger, that my parents would not let me do. I got grounded for doing stupid things, and there is plenty that I did under the age of 18 that I still have not told my parents, and never will.
To paraphrase what Bill Maher said when the last spawn came out of her, "Dogs can do it too, why do you think you are so special?"

I've been fascinated by the Duggars ever ince their first tv special aired 5-6 years ago. I strongly disagree with all of their beliefs, to the point where I'm often disgusted. That being said, they are basically decent (if extremely misguided) people and I wish nothing but the best for little Josie. I also hope for everyone's sake that she is their last baby.
I don't think it will be her last if she can physically have more. She's 43. She could have another. They seem like a very happy, loving family. I just wish the kids were allowed to date or watch tv or do ANY of that stuff that other kids get to do. I think one is going to rebel and rebel HARD.
I'm 43. I could have another one. But there is no way in hell I'm gonna....LOL!

As someone who has never been blessed with children, I admire a big family. On the otherhand, with this last pregnancy, I think that Michelle greatly put the life of her unborn baby at risk as well as her own life. I look at this family and can see that they function well. With my family, someone is always in therapy, not talking to someone or blaming someone for all their problems. I applaud the Duggars. They look great, although not fashionable. But that doesn't matter. This family has a sense of who they are and what they want out of life. But most important, they help others as G-d instructed.

Good for them. I didn't realize John was a volunteer fireman; he's pretty low-profile on the show.

Someone in that household probably gets in trouble every day, they just chose not to broadcast Jedidiah talking back to his parents as part of the half hour show. And if the parents never knew about it, of course they won't show it. I was referring to questioning their strict religious upbringing, not questioning their parents for not every rule set forth.
