We just watched 2 very powerful & gut wrenching movies from Netflix. They both take place during the holocaust
1. A Place To Hide ( French)
2. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas
We can recommend both very highly

I've really been wanting to see The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
Never heard of the other one, though.

Posted: 6/20/09 at 10:09pmThe first is about the persecution of Jews & Gays during the holocaust. The germans hated the jews but they were especially vicious toward gays. One scene is almost too painful to watch.

Posted: 6/20/09 at 10:10pmI saw The Boy in the Striped Pajamas when it was in the movie theater. Great film. I have not heard of A Place To Hide but will check it out on dvd. Thanks for the recommendation!
