Isis, there's no reason for making up things like that, and it sure won't win you any friends. Matt_G is too well liked by the entire board (and any who dislike him would know better than to admit it) for you to do any harm.

I think the fact that this post was even started in the first place was stupid and just ITCHING for a fight.

I'm on here a LOT during the day and I have a full time job. Just so happens we've been a little slow lately....

But what exactly WAS the point of this? Stupid and childish if you ask me, but hey, nobody did.

Not very long for me. I'm signing off momentarily. I have work in the morning -- yes I do work Jose, you jackass -- funeral plans to make and better things to do with my time than be insulted by the administrators of a theatre board. I'll decide at a later time whether it's worth my time and self-respect to devote any more energy to a site that apparently holds me in such low disregard that the people that run it would allow me to be disrespected in such a fashion.

You know, I'm all for a good ol' down and dirty fight as much as the next person, but what if we're misinterpreting Jose's intent here? Before we assume it was a veiled insult about the amount of time these 3 folks spend on here, consider that there may have been other reasons this was asked.

Maybe it's because, as several folks have pointed out, MargoChanning and DGrant have offered several above-average insightful thoughts on these boards, and Matt_G has posted more than his fair share of funny/snarky/sarcastic posts, and Jose' was curious about their backgrounds and the context of their comments.

It could've just been an innocent (albeit nosy) question. Give Jose time to explain him/herself before we storm off in a huff.

I'm glad to hear you're not making any rash decisions, Margo.

Please know that so many people here love you and count on you as a source of endless information. Jose' did disrespect you, but are you going to let one person's nasty jab make you leave? There's always someone looking for a fight, you can't let them make your decisions.

The thing is, Jose' was still signed on for a while after he made this thread. He saw how it was interpreted. And he didn't say anything. Either he's too embarrassed to apologize, which is understandable, or he doesn't intend to apologize at all, which is not understandable in the least.

Jose', you can make a locked thread in which you apologize. That way no one can insult you about it. Or better yet, send Margo, DGrant, and Matt_G PMs. End this quietly.
