2 Questions for Matt_G, Margo Channing & D Grant — Page 5

Let's be real people:

1. We all know this thread is just stupid and should probably have not even been given the decency of a reply from the start.

2. The day any explanation and/or apology comes up is the day pride will be injured, and heaven forbid someone give up pride.

3. Everyone knows what its like to spend a lot of time on the boards, be it posting or just reading, so the picking on of three specific people is just pathetic.

Basically, don't over react to it. People are stupid. Ignore them.

Because Type_A_Tiff, should Jose's question be of actual interest, he could have asked that via PM.

Not to mention, this is but one of several bizarre administrative tiffs...

Guys, please. Jose', I don't really know you, and maybe you didn't mean to offend anybody, but you owe people an apology, because they were offended. Its just the polite thing to do.

And Isis- I was nice, but that's not gonna happen if you lie. I barely know Matt_G, but I know him well enough to trust him.

Mmm. That's true, there have been quite a few admin issues as of late. That's what I get for being a stereotypical passive-aggressive Canadian. I can't even recognize that trait in others. LOL

Well, in that case...Jose', I don't see what good it would serve you to insult the 3 most prominent members on this board, because without their posts, a lot of us would not be compelled to come on here so frequently, and really, our traffic is what has kept this site going. If you chase away these folks, you'll wind up chasing away everyone else who comes online to gain some valuable insight on these boards, and all you'll be left with are Wicked fanatics and BKLYN shills.

And whether or not your intent has been misconstrued, obviously there have been some hurt feelings, not only from these 3, but from other loyal posters. Because of this, a private apology, or at the very least, an explanation, is clearly in order. Nothing needs to be explained to the public, but at the very least MargoC, DGrant and Matt_G.

Thank you, Tiff. I agree that things need to be smoothed over some way, because no matter what the intent, people are offended. An explanation and apology where applicable will help. If it was not meant the way people thought it, say so without sarcasm.

Anyway, look at this logically, Isis. Who are we going to believe, a longtime, beloved poster or a newbie who picked on Matt_G from the get-go?

Plum is right. It would be one thing if this was a one time thing but with Jose', it's become a pattern of destructive and childish behavior. Some people just can't handle power.

I love martyrs! I mean real ones though. Not those who try to make themselves into one. Gee I wonder who does that?

Isis, I have never and probably will never know Matt_G offline, but the guy on the boards seems cool and has never done anything to me. Everyone else seems to agree. You can't really believe that storming in and laying your grudge down is going to change all that, can you?
