Your prices are crazy. Who would pay $25 for the Into the Woods on VHS?

If you read the description, the VHS cassette also comes with a Playbill from a preview performance of the show...Thanks...

ChgoTheatreGuy, it's your business what you set your prices at. But I really think you are over estimating the value of your cassette tapes and VHS tapes. I have some collectable background with music, including vinyl (I have a friend who had a store, who I helped out many times). Much of what you are selling we were lucky to get a $1.00 for it. But good luck, somebody's throwaways are always somebody's newfound treasure.

I was going to look at his auctions, but was alerted that he charges $47.32 just to browse his listings.

$47.32 won't even get you a cassette maxi single!

For two dollars more than the Spider-Man dvd (without a case) you can get a brand-new dvd/blu ray/digital combo on Amazon.

Don't be nasty. It's a COLLECTION of TWO Ace of Base cassettes. And they are Out Of Print! That's what makes these cassettes really special.
So, did he acquire this stuff in 2012 or is he writing to us from an alternate timeline? Because looking at the films and DVDs, I'd swear it was 1992.

So giving away my cassette tapes to a garage sale is not the thing to do? I should sell them for $40 or more? I will gladly sell anyone my Ace of Base tape with no case or art for $100. But it's the one with The Sign, so I know everyone loves that song.
And I can also make a special deal for my Into the Woods VHS. $200 and I will throw in a playbills from the revival and Shakespeare in the Park.

I'd buy all those cassettes, but then I'd have to buy a cassette player on ebay as well. Or a car from 1985. I have my Fiddler and Fiorello OBCs on vinyl autographed by Jerry Bock to me with inside jokes based on a production we worked on together. But those are just junk.

Negative people will be negative people. I am selling items that certain people may want as collector's items, I have already sold some items without any of the unnecessary criticism that can be found on here. The Ace of Base cassettes have different title in America than in the rest of the world. If there are things that I am selling you are not interested in...no one is twisting your arm to buy anything...

No, but your shilling on a public message board so the comments come with the territory.

There's a difference between comments and outright catiness and bitchiness...which I am sure that everyone on here graduated at the top of their classes in...

Ok, split hairs if you like.
You're still shilling on a public message board and people will still make fun of you.

For some people, it's just a natural God-given talent. Others have to work at it for over 40 years to get to this level of bitchy cattiness. Comments come in all flavors and sizes on anymessageboardintheworld.com. Shilling your wares is just as unnecessary to this place as the comments. And if you were familiar with this site at all, you knew EXACTLY what to expect.

OK, no bitchiness, just comment. You're trying to sell me a used VHS of Silence of the Lambs that was used as a rental copy which means it probably was treated poorly, for a starting bid of $20 and a buy it now of $26. There isn't a person in the world that's not impaired mentally who would think a used rental copy is a collector's item. Never mind that a brand new Blu-ray of this film is $11 and a 2 disc DVD is $9. You honestly should be ashamed of yourself.
