Miles, Did you receive your Kylie vinyl? What is your opinion? My local B&N is not carrying it. But I am going to Orlando on next Monday, for the day. The store website states they are carrying it. If they have it, I'll buy it. Also for you and other vinyl buyers. Walmart is putting all their vinyl on sale for $15, for their pre Black Friday sale that starts Nov 11 online and Nov 14 in store. Keep in mind they sell clean versions only of their cds. Their vinyl might be the same.

Yes, I just heard that last week. I am waiting for this album like a fan girl at the Gershwin Stage Door in 2003/2004!

Also listening to the new Woodkid album. Got turned on to him from his Kimmel appearance last month. I am sure it is not everyone's cup of tea but I am enjoying it. Not as "melodic" as his first one and EP. He is known more for his video direction.

Be careful when purchasing. For whatever reason Target, and I am sure some other retailers, are selling clean and explicit lyrics versions at the same time. The covers looks identical. Have to purchase explicit Miley so that she can be a "dirty girl".

I get my music online. Usually if there are 2 versions, they are right next to each other and I always get the explicit version.

Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Little Mix, and Kylie Minogue!!

Also I love Nova Amor, but it might be too indie for some people. But they just released a new album that’s fun!

Ariana's cd grew on me after multiple listens. I don't agree that many have said it is her best. The main problem I have is the majority of the songs sound the same and are so short. I think the entire cd is about 35 minutes in length. I can drive from one part of my city to the other side and I've listened to the entire thing.

It’s a very r&b album. So it did take me a few listens! But I dig it. But Thank You, Next is still my favorite.

Love the new Little Mix! If you just want some girl group 90s pop!

Never heard of this group but looked them up. LOVING their new album. (It looks like they released an album and an EP's with songs from the full album this year.) I have fallen in love with the title song from their "Birthplace" album. Takes me back to sitting on the porch of my friend's cabin in the Rocky Mountains. Just relaxing with some good relaxing music. I hope to play this the next time I am there! I love indie music.

Added that one to the playlist today. I like the sound of rain when I go to bed (Use an app and a you tube channel) and sometimes play quiet music with it. Will probably do that tonight with the first album.

Took me a week, but I finally heard the first half of AC/DC's latest last night. A lot of the songs sounded solid but somewhat interchangeable thus far. Can't believe it's been 40 years since "Back in Black."

Jordan, I took a listen and I like a few songs on the album.

I have no clue how I missed the latest Tycho release back in February. Just found it because he is releasing remixes from the "Weather" album in December. Already has a few singles out from it.

Got the new Kylie the other day via Walmart online. Had a giftcard and if it would have arrived damaged I would just return it. To my surprise the packaging was not the usual plastic case. Also ordered the standard and they sent me the deluxe instead, for the standard price. I enjoyed it for the most part.....it is Kylie. But those lyrics. Even for dance tunes, were quite juvenile. Will get the new Miley next week, when Black Friday shopping eases

Listened to the new Miley. I like it for the most part. I love how a lot of artists are reaching back to the sound of the 80's and 90's. Only drawback it that you can tell some instruments are electronic, which takes that edge of authenticity from it. But I like that she does her thing. She could have just gone down that pop path or blue eyed soul type path like Bieber and Timberlake, but she mixes it up. I love the opening track and the "Midnight Sky" remix with Stevie Nicks. Was hoping for a little more with her "Heart of Glass' cover though.

More new music....I just realized that Bootsy Collins released an album called "The Power of One" in April. A nice throw back album with appearances from George Benson, Snoop Dog and Branford Marsalis. Really enjoying this one also.

Purchased Miley yesterday, but haven't listened to it yet. However, I can't get Midnight Sky, out of my head. Constantly thinking about it. I think it is my favorite single of 2020.
