80's fashion

is back!

American Apparel is bringing back the 'half shirt.'

80's fashion

One of my favorites of all 80's clothing.

crop-tees, they're a good thing.

And only the sheerest, most instantly degradable fabric for a ridiculous price! Thank you, American Apparel!!

re: 80's fashion

They're only good if you have a flat stomach. I wouldn't (and shouldn't) be caught dead in one.

re: 80's fashion

They're even better when they're mesh, and trying to put this as delicately as possible, and the wearer is over 60, pleasantly plump and his hairy nipples are sticking out of the mesh. HOT!!!

Gross... I would never wear this and I have abs. Why can't they just bring back hypercolor shirts instead?

re: 80's fashion

People washed them wrong and ruined the color changing ink.

I had a closet full of leggings in every color.

Jelly shoes were painful. I remember going out to recess in them. It was like a death wish for your feet.

re: 80's fashion

I spent $50 dollars at Charivari for a sleeveless T-shirt with shoulder pads. It was perfect for Studio 54. Why did I get rid of it?

leggings came and went this past spring.

I was in my prime in the 80s and i NEVER saw anyone wearing a tee shirt like that. I remember women wearing belly shirts in the late 90s.

Did you ever go to Studio 54 back then?

Got it at Charivari.
Black back/White front, shoulder pads, no sleeves.

re: 80's fashion

I miss leg warmers too, but I'm so not a dancer that it probably looks tacky and insane.

I remember my leggings with the socks pulled over them with sneakers and an oversized tee shirt. That was so attractive, and flattering for my body type, might I add.

Am I the only one who got second degree burns from the metal straps on jellies in the summer?

re: 80's fashion

Just as long as 80's hair doesn't come back.

I'm suprised that people who were alive in the 80's have any hair left from all of the junk that they put on it to make it look so ugly!

As you can see, I have no hair left from the junk I put in it in the 80's. Let this be a lesson.
