Hagatha looks like Rush Limbaugh.

I know you. I know you. I know you.

Maybe "Three Weird Sisters"--a Chekhov-Shakespeare mash-up.

The Shakespeare/Chekhov mashup would have to be a Jerry Herman musical version.

Hagatha looks like it could be Reta Shaw, but I'm not sure.

Harvey Fierstein could replace Reta Shaw, much to the consternation of the pilers-on.

Couldnt we include Clara and Esmerelda?

Or are they sisters in law?

They can be Natasha and Anfisa, the old housekeeper.

Chekhov's Girls? Lansbury, Channing, and Peters?

That cast is probably the only thing that could get me to revisit that play. I get why Chekhov is a big deal and I enjoy reading them, but I can't sit through a live performance.

Enchantra looks like Dot from EastEnders.

Really, Mr. Matt? It's one of my, I dunno, three favorite plays, I think.

If you want to sit through an evening of three sisters, Crimes Of the Heart is a much better play to do that.

I always wondered about Endora's family. Three domineering sisters, two milquetoast, rather bumbling gals and then Arthur- he must be the youngest? And I think Endora was the only one who ever married. There truly could be an interesting Tennessee Williams play written about that clan.

Trivia - when Endora, Enchantra, and Hagatha showed up together, they usually materialized in a car they called Macbeth.

I played Tuzenbach in the (ugh) Mamet translation. My favorite part was leaving the stage for the duel. I also liked pretending to be asleep after the fire, but the OCD part of me always wondered if I remembered to zip my fly after the costume change. Luckily, I had a terrific Irina. One of my favorite actresses I've ever worked with. She made the whole thing bearable.

Enchantra was played by Estelle Winwood, who was well into her 80s when she did "Bewitched." She worked into almost up until her death, playing Mrs. Higgins in Rex Harrison's final tour of MY FAIR LADY in 1983 at age 100, and died in 1984 at 101.

ETA: She was also one of the little old ladies in the original film "The Producers."

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
