"Thanks for the supportive words, kdogg! I'm just back from a two week ban, so it is nice to read that."
That is nice of "Kdogg", but I have supported you also. The difference is I am objective and will call you out when I think you are wrong and have offered suggestions to change the perception some people have of you. Please look in the mirror and ask yourself why you get banned so often. I got banned once but at least I learned my lesson and have not been banned again.

I'm kind of curious about exactly what gets people banned. I've never seen anything that egregious from you, but I only check every couple of days so it's possible I missed whatever it was that did the trick.
Of course it's none of my business so feel free to ignore this!

Back on topic.
37 million Californians on alert as we brace for yet another storm. Haven't dried out from the last storm. Yesterday, helped friends who live in a low-lying area place sandbags around their property.

The one time I had 7-day suspension I was never told I was being suspended or the post that caused the suspension. One day, I tried to post something and got reply back I was suspended. If you read this board's rules, they are supposed to warn you first before you get suspension. I can probably guess the post that got me suspended but can't tell anybody for sure. IMO the main cause is probably something they consider a personal attack, and another poster has to flag that post as offensive.

So sad this is hurting so many people, very nice of you to help your friends out.

Zeppie, you're not so bad, you at least TRY to be fair even if you are sometimes wrong.
P.S. I did not personally attack anyone, just for the record.

Back on topic, it really is frightening to look at what's happening. Even more frightening to imagine what it will be like in the decades to come.

Following the recent rains, many parts of the Golden State are experiencing a "Super Bloom". Anza-Borrego, profiled here, is just east of San Diego. Gorgeous (and I love the rattlesnake, as well).
