Tebow has to be glad to getting out of the train wreck known as the NY Jets.
Mc Elroy sacked 11 times today. Sanchez should count his lucky stars. These guys are the Mets of football. They need a total house cleaning.
The NY Giants did their Boston Strangler impression today a/k/a The Choker

Posted: 12/24/12 at 8:11amThe Giants now need a lot of help to make the playoffs. Only the combination of a Giants win plus losses by the Viking, Bears, and Cowboys will get them in.

That may be true, MadB, but at least you still have hope. Gang Green lovers can do nothing but wallow in our pain. And assign blame. Lots of blame.
Soooooo much blame...

Posted: 12/24/12 at 8:26amBy the way, I am a Jets fan...it's not easy being green. And yes, there is soooooo much blame, but it starts with ownership and the head coach. They were able to get by in Ryan's first two years with defense and rushing, but when they tried to improve to take the team to the next level, all they did were expose the weaknesses that they had been able to hide before. Sanchez has always been an extremely limited QB, but in their first two years they didn't ask him to do much. Once they did, though...yikes. Ryan has been a defensive genius, but has become a living, breathing example of the Peter Principle.

Posted: 12/24/12 at 9:20amIt was either watch football or volunteer again in Sheepshead Bay with Occupy Sandy. I chose the later. A wise choice. Helping ease misery instead of watching it.

Posted: 12/24/12 at 9:31amWell, my cable company carries the NFL Network, so we've taken to watching their Red Zone program. Basically, it's a guy with way too much Red Bull hosting, and they keep cutting back and forth from whichever NFL games are in the 'Red Zone'. It's especially entertaining if you're involved in Fantasy Football.
