If we could graph how many people register BWW per week, I think that would have been a VERY LARGE influx during the first week of January.
Now, we all know why.
So, aside from that, why did you join BWW? Did you see a post to which you just HAD TO respond, a friend make you, etc?

All That Chat banned me for starting a poll. (They're a tad on the anal-retentive side over there.)
I did a Google and BWW came up.
That was 3,000+ posts ago.

Why do we play with fire?

Posted: 3/18/05 at 8:35pmOriginally I came across it in a google search, but at the time wasn't quite interested in boards. Always thought they weren't that great. Then Lael told me about it again so I tried it out, and now... I can't get enough of it. It's so great to find a community of people who share your same passion for musical/non-musical theatre.

I just wanted a place where I could talk to a wide variety of people from all over the country about theatre, and not just my own personal theatre circle. Now I'm addicted.
I'm a product of the January influx. We should call it the "Braodway Boom".

I was googling something, and I ended up with a BWW link. I started to read some threads, and I was like "hey, this might be fun." So, after a week or two, I mustered up the courage and joined. I just wanted a place where I could chat about what I love.

I joined because I wanted to hear other peoples opinions of theater, because its something to do after school, and its hard to get theater news in Detroit without websites like this one.
