So, when are we invading Sudan? I guess you would have stayed in Somalia and gone into Rwanda.

And, those graves were from the Iran and Iraq war, and from reaction to uprisings that we failed to support in the first gulf war.

And, Bush has done very little to secure our infrastructure, our ports, or chemical plants . . .

Please, ask your parents for permission to the join the military early, and really show your support.

And, the first WTC bombing occurred in February 1993 just as Clinton came into office, and Bush 1 Left. There were no domestic attacks until Bush came into office. So, I guess Clinton did a pretty good job, even without "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here."

So sweetie...100,000 dead is ok with you? Are the rape rooms ok with you??? I guess it would be better for the whole world if we say were sorry and set sadam back up in power and let him go back to running Iraq the way he did in the past...Ask the people of Iraq If that would be O.K. with them...I'm done with this all your doing is repeting the Dem. talking points... Go back to Air America and get some more info from Al Frankin.

Okay..I can see where this is heading. You want to continue to bring up WMD's that were used in a war that took place 15 years before the 2003 Invasion. I am not denying that WMD's possibly existed before that time and were used against the Iraqi people. So my questions to you are this?
1)Where is the link between Iraq and the 9/11 terrorist?
2) Where are the WMD's that we invaded Iraq to find and destroy? We've been Iraq 3 years now...and still no sign of them.
3) What do you say to the familes of the 2,500 soldiers who have been killed in a war predicated on lies and half-truths?
4) When you're old enough will you enlist?

Goodness, funny how JerseyBoyLover has turned from a 15 year old girl who doesn't really care, to a rabidly pro-Bush, pro-war Republican in just the course of a few hours.
But still can't answer a few simple questions.

no, genocide is not okay with me. In fact, I'm a member of STAND (Students Taking Action Now Darfur), a group that's trying to help with the genocide in the Sudan (which I assume you know nothing about). What I'm saying is that that has nothing to do with WMDs. It's not okay, but it has nothing to do with why we *supposedly* went over there.

No attack ??? what about the boming of the world trade center in NY...not the one on 9/11 the one when Clinton was in office...Ask the Navy about the attack on the USS Cole it ws when Clinton was in office...nothing done either time...and as far as the Gulf war we were not there to look for WMDs we were there to push Iraq out of Kuwait thats all we were there for.

There is a fundamental issue that you do not apparently understand of whether the United States has the right to use its military to compel an indpendent nation to do something.

I love how people spew off the horrors under Sadam as say "if you don't support the war, then you support rape rooms."

Well, you can hate what Saddam did, but disagree with another country using unilaterly military power to compel change to a standard we think is proper.

Under that scenario, we should be invading Mexico, Venezuala, Saudi Arabia, Iran, South Korea, China, and other nations that do not meet our subjective standard of how a government should lead.

And, while there were military responses to the attacks on the Cole and 1993 WTC, the were not full scale invasions.

For the record, I supported the invasion of Afghanistan. I just wish they would have finished the job before the went off to create democracy in Iraq. Updated On: 6/23/06 at 01:47 PM

You know what this is just stupid, we cant do anything about Bush being in office and we cant stop the war. Us trying to trying to prove each other wrong is not doing any good.

You keep changing the subject and not answering the question. It's a classic dodge used by someone who doesn't want to answer, or doesn't have the answer.

Jerseyboyslover, I'll lay off. But it does seem funny that you would be the one to back down. All I'm asking is that you think about your opinions, do a little research, just think about what's best for you and the rest of your country. Please, just think about it.

Actually, there is much that can be done.

The first step is electing enough Democrats so that Bush has an actual opposition party in either the house or Senate, or both, so that he cannot just ram this crap down our throats.

And, this is our government, "of the people, by the people" so it is our duty to speak up and work for change if the Government is going down a path we disagree with.

LOL...did your dog eat your homework too??? Blame it on your Dad...that's a good one. Ask him if he knows where the WMD's are...we've all been looking for them and can't seem to find them.

Funny, your dad has just as bad a grasp of spelling as you do...
Do you know where the terrorists, by and large, were from? Saudi Arabia. Iraq had nothing to do with that. And Bush has admitted that. If you're going to get into a political argument, as least get your facts straight before you do it.

Tell Daddy to learn proper English. After all, his president wants it to be the official language of the United States. And if you don't speak the national language, you're supporting the terrorists, right?

Sorry. I just get SO up in arms when teenagers declare pride in their apathy. I'm 16 and if I've learned anything from studying history, it's that sectional politics is bad (thank you, George Washington's Farewell Address), and apathy is worse. I firmly believe that one person CAN make a difference. I got into an argument about this recently; someone was trying to make the point that we shouldn't do anything about Darfur because "genocide is always going to happen" and we can't, as individuals, make a difference. That just makes me sick... but I won't go off on that tangent today.

I don't like Bush. I don't think he's intelligent to be our president. I don't like the pundits and the demagogues; I don't like the corruption and the bribery. This administration has made me want to go into politics... just because I do think one person can make a difference and, you know, help STOP the corruption.

Um, getting off my soapbox now. Sorry.

Oh, and yeah, no WMDs were found. Shame we had to do a full-scale invasion with YEARS of military occupation and deaths numbering in the thousands to find that out...

Oh, and Iran has nukes. Why aren't we there?
