More like Toby Maguire in Seabiscuit.

I'm not saying you said those things, Joe, but I don't think you can turn PalJoey's comment about irrational hatred of Hillary around to irrational hatred of Obama. I have no issue with people supporting Obama - I just take issue with the fact that a good number of them are blinded by a lot of misguided spite towards Hillary and an odd sort of denial about the reality of their candidate - ie, that he ALWAYS tells the truth, that it would all be smooth sailing if it weren't for Hillary, that his politics are somehow different than everyone else's, that he's a beacon of light being clouded by the cold calculations of that bitch Hillary, etc.

Phyllis, I think it's all perception.

I'm not saying Hillary had a divine right to be president.

I'm saying I had a clear vision of how Democrats could take the White House for 16+ years.

And if not for the self-destructive stupidity of Obama, his supporters, Howard Dean, Donna Brazile and the DNC, we would all be sailing to victory.

My vision was fail-safe. Everybody else's fails.

I am very clear about this.

I'm so sick of this crap. My god, just let the nominee be picked, and then get behind them. They're almost identical politically, so who really cares? All this defeatist crap is going to HAND the White House to McCain on a silver platter, nothing else.

There are two excellent nominees, and both would have an excellent chance at wiping the floor with McCain if everyone just got over themselves and shut the F*CK up!

Not if Dean can help it.

Dean: I need a decision 'now'

He's desperate to have the nomination wrapped up NOW because if it goes to the convention, it will glaringly look like he F*CKed up.

Donna Brazile is similarly panicked. They had no idea Florida and Michigan would be the tie-breakers. Now their stupid decision is coming back to haunt them.

Lesson the Democrats: LEAVE DISENFRANCHISING VOTERS TO REPUBLICANS.

PJ, I love you dearly and read every one of your posts even when they infuriate me. But to say that Barack Obama messed up your vision and ruined everything is frankly delusional.

Delusional. I always get that.

People called me "delusional" when I told them I wanted to produce LIZA AND LORNA AT CARNEGIE HALL.

Then that Rufus Wainwright came along and RUINED EVERYTHING.

What a great Tony awards that was.

If you want to see the two sisters fight--watch the part where the do the harmony on the long high note in I Got Rhythm. Liza gets mixed up and sings Lorna's note on the "Ahhhhhh," so they end up doing unison.

Lorna shoots her a dirty look, but Liza just plows on.

When Liza does it a SECOND time, you can actually hear Lorna (godloveher) sing "You're singing my note!" instead of "Ahhhhhhh!"

And this was live television!
