"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

re: A suggestion to Rob/Craig

I wish I were clever enough to come up with the next three category names. Somebody? This has hilarious potential.

Good God, I'd STILL be way past that.

Or even better, just eliminate them. As has been proven over and over, quantity doesn't necessarily imply quality.

re: A suggestion to Rob/Craig

morosco, there aren't words for how brilliant that is.

However, I really don't think I want to know how many posts I have past legend status. That's really more than high enough to have counted. I'm of the school that doesn't want my lack of a life broadcast via number of posts I've made.

Uh...I know I'm well behind Emcee, but let's just say I'm not quite covered by the new categories, either. If you want to cover more people, you might want to go by increments of 5,000 after "Legend."

Thank you.

re: A suggestion to Rob/Craig

Well, we could also do specific broadway legends...

2000 - Carol Channing
3000 - Liza
4000 - Ethel Merman

And so on, and so on...

Shira, the problem with that is that everyone has different ideas of which Broadway Legend is fit to be set at a certain number of posts.
