ABC's new show, 'Dancing with the Media Freaks'

ABC will have a new show premiering this September called "Dancing with the Media Freaks." It will feature people who have created headlines in the media like Chaz Bono, Rob Kardashian, Nancy Grace. Elisabeth Canalis and David Arquette also made the press by breaking-up with two very successful actors in Hollywood. It also has Hope Solo, who created headlines when throwing a fit about being benched during a soccer match. I wonder why they had to cancel "Dancing with Stars" and replace it with this show. Since DWTS was canceled the professional dancers from that show will now have jobs on this show.

Portia de Rossi dancing with a woman was nixed previously so I doubt it. But, I think Carson dancing with a woman might turn to be comedy gold. I think he's a trip.

While I've lost a ton of respect for Nancy Grace from her Casey Anthony coverage, I am looking forward to her ripping the judges new assholes when she doesn't like their comments.

Did I dream up Ricki Lake already being on the show?

Even before its series premiere the show has already had hundreds of complaints about Chaz Bono.

^ I'm talking about MEDIA freaks. Not FREAKS. The "MEDIA Circus" and the term "FREAK" are different.

I don't have a problem with Chaz being on the show, but having watched his documentary and listened to him complain about how he HAD to transition in the media because they wouldn't allow him to do it quietly, this is bulls$it. He's choosing to put his life on TV. You can't jump in front of the cameras and then complain about the media. Yes, it's awesome that a transgender person can be on such a popular show, but we know what's going to happen. Regardless of who he dances with, folks are going to lose their $hit. He's going to be voted off. The bible belt votes for this show. Bristol Palin made it to the finals, for God's sake. This wasn't a smart decision. People are already pissed about it.

Media Freaks are people who have coverage that is perceived to be out of proportion to their event being covered, such as the number of reporters at the scene, the amount of news media published or broadcast, and the level of media hype.

The term "Freak" usually refers to a person with something unusual about their appearance or behavior.

I am talking about people who are in so many articles in the press about things that don't need to be covered on every major news source.

Rob Kardashian's sister Kim, made every major headline when she filmed a sex tape. That makes her a "MEDIA freak."

The only upsurge to this season:

- Hopefully Chaz Bono will lose some weight.
- Nancy Grace is gonna have some funny **** to say.
- Rob Kardashian is so attractive.

And isn't Maks not a pro this season? What gives? His brother better be hot.

JG2- I seriously doubt Chaz could have gone through his sex change in private. Eventually it would have come out, so I'm sure he thought the easiest way was to just do it publicly.

I've never seen the show, and don't plan to, but $10 says Rikki Lake turns it out. Love her.
