So this might seem like the stupidest question:
I live in Toronto where we don't use America Online and therefore AIM.
So now for the stupid question, do you pronounce it A-I-M or aim?
Nah, not that stupid a question. I never really knew, so I said aim the other day, and people laughed at me. Thus, I'm guessing it's A-I-M.
I've heard people use both. I say Aim.
Yeah people laughed at me when I used to said aim, so I called it A-I-M.

I've always said A-I-M, and it caught me off guard the first time someone said aim because I never thought of it that way since it's an acronym. But really, people do it either way.
i use both
I usually say A-I-M. Aim sounds wierd to me.
I always say aim. To me when people say A-I-M it sounds weird
I'm far to busy to take the time to separately pronounce all three letters, well that combined with the fact saying A-I-M is... stupid...

I say aim, but when I do some people don't understand what I mean. So I use both.

When I first hear AIM I didn't understand what they meant. I use A-I-M

I use aim. To spell out an acronym is kind of silly when it is already a real word, aim. If it was EPT or some other combination of three letters I would spell it out. But it isn't so I say aim
I've always thought it was pronounced aim, since it's a real word, and what the people at AOL meant for it to be.
