Oh, no, I didn't mean anything by that-just that she's old. I love her too!
As far as Greenlee-the new one looks a little like Rebecca.
Her husband yes that's him. pathetic. He can't get anything better than that?

F*CK I meant Phoebe's funeral since her and Carol's character always had a rivalry
I love Myrtle and want her on for as long as she can be (same with Palmer though I always get worried about James' health now when I see him--he was afterall a lead dancer in the ballet int he film of Oklahoma--quite a ways ago. And of course Myrtle was the Queen in Olivier's film of Hamlet...)
Ugh is Rebecca married to that Bachelor?
Just a headsup to all you fans that tomorrow's episode has Zoe singing on Erica's show. Is this the last time we'll see him on AMC? I'll miss him/her-I love the character and I love Jeffery Carlsen. Lucky folks in DC!
Looks like they used The View's studio for the New Beginnings studio. Makes sense since the shows are taped in the same building. Jeff rocked out today.

I'm sad. The very last frame of the end of Zoe's song and the way it lingered sure looked to me like we won't be seeing her again. sob! I love Jeffrey.

MY MOM CALLED DURING THE PERFORMANCE AND I MISSED IIIITTTT.
Jane, I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that their last air date is tomorrow. They would have to say their goodbye's to everyone!
You've got friends in the DC area! Go check out Jeff in Hamlet!

Thanks for the info, girly, I know I can always depend on you!!!!
LOL-quote of the day-"Give me my baby....or die...."
Wow! Today's episode rocked!!!!
I loved how Derek shot Cambias and is hiding it.
I LOVED how Janet wouldn't give up the baby.
I loved the gun scene between Krystal and Adam. And then Colby!
Finally, Greenlee appears.
Now this is how I like my AMC~

I often defend McTavish but the Derek shooting Cambias thing reeks of one of her worse traits--how she allows her characters to get away with illegal actions at the drop of a hat. She always has people being shipped in boxes around the world, somehow breaking into each others houses SOO easily, etc etc and this is just another example IMHO
Is next week officially the start of the new writers? of course we'll have about 6 weeks of transition material but I wonder what stories iwll be continued and which will change directions?

How do you know Derek will get away with it?

The half-man/half-woman forces Theresa to watch as booby-trapped walls close in on Ethan. He makes a deal with her; in exchange for Ethan's life, Theresa must have Jared's baby!
Check out "Passions". It's in it's last months on NBC and it's really getting interesting. There is a gay affair, men in prison, a half man/half woman blackmailer, a saint (Sheridan) turned evil and little witch Endora is headed to pre-school with mortal children. "Gwen" (daughter of AMC's "Erica") and "Rebecca" (former Tina Lord of OLTL)return in May.

I just assume Derek will get away with it --you could be right and I could be wrong but prior Mctavish has proven otherwise (then again she won't be writing the ending of his case so...)
Jimny I love theidea of a campy over the top soap but for me Passions has never live dup to that (or its original trailers way back promising a genuinely spooky supernatural soap) but Passions was way too slow, way too much repetitive dialogue, etc to ever live up to that for me. Still I migth watch the last few months ito see what they do with carte blanche (is it actually going to direct tv for sure)?

Eric, "Passions" starts new episodes on Direct TV one week after it ends on NBC. The NBC finale will be a cliff hanger and then the story will resume on Direct TV. It will air 4 new episodes a week (no Friday) and the contract is for one year. It's been very campy and funny lately. NBC is adding a 4th hour to the "Today Show" so "Passions" is gone. "Passions" poked fun at that a few weeks ago. They had Sheridan watching TV when a news bulletin came on and the announcer said, "We interrupt the sixth hour of the Today show to bring you ....".
I'm going to have to get Direct TV now.
Back to AMC-I don't care who wrote the episode-I was just riveted and glad of it-it's been too long! All I know is someone came up with the goods.
VCR screwed up today! Soap Central doesn't have a recap for today up yet. What happened?

Let me think-They know that Janet has the baby and is driving in a car.
Annie thinks that Jonathan is dangerous because there was a machete on the floor of the house, and he said that Cambias was dead because someone shot him. She put 2 and 2 together, and so she, Ryan and the two little girls left to go sleep somewhere else.
What's the name of the woman who was the mother of Aidan? Well, she and Josh kissed. Nothing very eventful today.
Sounds like I didn't miss anything major. Thanks, Jane. Still nothing for Monday at soapcentral!

Does anyone see the purpose of having Lily's "half sister" on? I don't.
To bleed Lily dry?

You'd think so from today's episode.

Part of the claim was to give the talented actress who plays Lily more to do--which is at the least mildly insulting to autistic people in general but more upsetting to me is Ava is (so far--she's yougn and I'll give her time) sorta making me think the actress who plays both roles wasn't quite the amazing find--or at leats isn' tvery diverse--that I used to think she was. Dual roles are hard for anyone to pull off--and seeing David Canary all these years do it so well has spoiled me but still when I see Ava it always comes off as Lily pretending to be a touch girl--even her dialogue is still similarly stilted, etc

The new Greenlee-I know they tried to get someone who looks like both Greenlee and Annie but so far I think she lacks the charm of both.

I would agree except I've learned not to say much about a new actor on a soap till they've been on screen at least 2+ weeks. (Anyone else remember how annoying Greenlee originally was in 1999? She was created just as a brief foil--very cartoony--to get in the way of Scott and Becca--who were both far les sinteresting actors and characters)
Hopefully Greenlee back will mean we'll see Mary back on the canvas tho
