Paula cracks me up... I would love to see and hear the world through her ears.

Constantine: hummm for a Jazz rendition that was decent, except for that last note, which was a wee week. Although I seem to remember T.C. Carter singing that same arrangement on Living Single.

his "I know you want me" expression...
I was just trying to put into words what annoyed me...and that's it, exactly!
I physically recoiled when he did that "smoldering f**k me" gaze into the camera. No. Just...no. I actually feel ill. He looks one Scott short of being a sex offender.
And he'll still be back next week.
*barf*
What I love about Constantine is that he knows exactly what he's doing. Playing to his audience.
In re: Constantine............As the judges say ( not tonight), it was a "safe".
She just said that musicals dont really fit into a category, like rock, pop, or country. Hummm Maybe that's because it is already a category of it's own.

Carrie:
She could do "country" Broadway. Great voice!
I completely agree with Simon. Carrie's performance, while vocally okay, was boring and dated.

I just look at her and think of Elle from "Legally Blonde." I do like her and think she is probably the most talented on Idol.
She was alright. I'm sure that's not a very easy song to sing, and it was sped up so much. She's still my fave
What song did Constantine sing? I turned it on right as the judges finished critiquing him (but not too late to see his "smoldering temptress" look. Ew.
Constantine sang a somewhat jazzy rendition of My Funny Valentine.
Stephen Schwartz is watching so he can write a show around another performer.
"I think it was the Korean tour or something. They were all frickin' asian!" -Zoran912
"What song did Constantine sing?"
"Leaving on a Jet Plane"..............just kidding. "My Funny Valentine".
Constantine is soooo hot! what would you rather have: someone who "plays" to the camera and makes a connection, or someone who is totally detached and has no connection to anything?
Constantines voice is wonderful, he's totally going to be i nthe top 2! Woohoo!!!!!
No Wildhorn ? Well I never
*shoots thanks to the powers above that Mikahla was kicked off before this show*
*shoots thanks as well this girl - name? - is sounding good*

Does Contstantine appeal to a certain yonger age range? Perhaps I'm missing something?
Vonzell.......????? Pitchy at points.
Wow, Vonzell made me actually like that song
I am 19 and repulsed by him. Maybe 13 year olds?

I disagree, Sweetiedarlinmia- musicals can't be stuck into one genre not exactly because they're a genre of their own, but because they use the other idioms themselves.
I loved that version of People.

Maybe b/c I'm almost 30 and his schtick is just plain annoying. If he toned it down a bit, perhaps he would be tolerable.
