re: re: re: ATC?

Danny's just someone who feels that nothing done on any stage measures up to his standards. I don't think anyone takes him seriously.

Come one come all!

I was and remain many things. Dangerous, unfortunately, isn't one of them. You have a better argument with nut nut case.

Oh, and thanks for bringing me over here! If you hadn't brought me up at all, pals wouldn't have linked me to the site and I wouldn't have known about it. Happy to be here! Thanks for taking me so seriously!

Vera was a nut case. Possibly dangerous. I'm just a casual reader there. I've had my issues with some of the ATC attitudes, but I did read one of the "anti" sites once and it was so foul I felt the black miasma clinging to me afterward. Nothing witty or smart about it, just pure unadultrated hatred...those people really need to move on.

I was banned once for ALLUDING to a bootleg---didn't use the word.

[/quote]

And yet, we've seen several people alude to bootlegs over there at various times, and the post doesn't even get deleted, let alone the person banned. I suppose if you're subtle enough, or they're unfamiliar with the availability of a show, you might get away with it. Or if you're one of the favorites.

It's that inconsistency that is most annoying. If you're going to have a subscriber agreement that woulld scare a lawyer, and then not be consistent in enforcing the one hundred and one rules of the place, then you just have to put up with the occasional peasant revolt.

Even so, I do miss the place. Or at least some of the people. Riggs for example. He was a kick and a half.

Hi y'all. It's Erica/Sweeney/ditz

re re re re re re?

So, is this one of those boards where you can say what you really think?

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: ATC?

We shall see, won't we.

Meanwhile...

Vera? Dangerous? Only when she's wearing her stilletto heels.

It's her posse you have to look out for.

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: ATC?

I'm an active poster on the ATC Las Vegas board. I have a hard time with the classic board with AOL/Dialup. I guess VJ can only afford so much space. However- it really disheartens me to hear that there are anti-ATC boards. What's the point?? Sounds like a bunch of negative people.

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: ATC?

The point is, darling, to say the things you'd like to say on ATC but can't.

The point is to get your daily dose of Vera.

To dish about the events of the day along with your theater talk.

Like...did you know David Gest is talking about marrying Diana Ross now? I think he'd better make sure it's not Michael before he proceeds, but that's just me.

https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.cfm?thread=110736#113557 Here is a whole thread on the David Gest interview if you are interested. And FindingNamo already beat you to it in the Madonna thread on the OT board. re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: ATC? Speaking of which this is now on the OT board.

re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: ATC?

I really don't contribute much to the message board and only knew a little about a few posters, largely because I reviewd for them for the Philly region and that kept me busy enough. I was sort of forced to keep a low profile largely due to the fact that I started working with or knowing too many actors prior to becomming an agent after I was writing reviews. It became a conflict and a mutual decision to leave.

I came to Bw.com open about who I know and work with and I have an understanding with Rob to represent my self as an unbiased writer. If a situation arises that may conflict, I am dilligent about letting Rob know and decline reviews or insight on certain actors or situations.

But I still occasionally read/post on ATC. I like that there are many theater lovin, well informed people mixed among the crowd of coconuts! Some things are monitored for good reasons, others well...I'll quite while I'm ahead. Everyone has the right to run their board their way!

re: : re: ATC?

Hold on a minute...you mean to tell me there are OTHER BOARDS DEVOTED TO THE THEATRE? What have I been wasting my time here for?

(Teasing, of course. This is the only place for me!)

Oh, and welcome to all you newbies.
PEACE.

Oh, Goody! That saucy Mackie Maniac has joined us here, too! Yay!
"Christ, Bette Davis?!?!"

re: re: re: re: : re: ATC?

Oh Mackie.

If, by "luggage," you mean the matching bags 'neath your bloodshot eyes, then, sure....

Poor Mackie. But I did like when you wore a copy of a copy of a copy of Dior. Such a nice tribute to Ann....
