Upside Down is about to become my most played song on iTunes.

I love their "Dancing Queen."

I think more so than Abba's.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

"I hope you're all happy, keeping Alan off the team. Couldn't you, for once, open your minds and hearts and hear something that he couldn't see? I, for one, am glad that Alan is blind, so he can't see what, I am so sad to say, you can't hear." -Jerri Blank

I saw A Teens perform at the Toys R Us in Times Square a couple of years ago. They were so perky. I kind of enjoyed it, though.

Their first non-Abba album was great ("Upside Down," "That's What It's All About," and the bonus track, "Don't Even Know Your Name" are my favorites, but I like pretty much every song on it), but the one after it sucked.

"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time." --NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms

Nothing wrong with some fun bouncy pop music. I love it.

If you like A Teens and S Club 7, you will LOVE Steps. They were HUGE in the UK, Australia and Japan. They only produced 5 UK CDs (Step One, Steptacular, Buzz, The Last Dance, Gold), and 4 inferior US releases (same except The Last Dance), but I fell in love with them instantly when my one of my roommates in London introduced me to them the summer of 1999. They quickly became one of my all-time favorite groups and now I own every single, CD, and DVD by them. The boy/girl band had one ingenius gimmick: each single release included simple dance steps so you can dance along with their videos. Fans learned them and performed them at their concerts and TV appearances. It's hokey and cheesey, but their talent is undeniable.

Check out the US release of Step One. There are two covers on this CD (Tragedy, Better the Devil You Know). The uber-cheesey 5, 6, 7, 8 is a semi-country/dance crossover and addictive fun. My personal favorite is Say You'll Be Mine, but you should also try Last Thing on My Mind, Love's Got a Hold of My Heart, and Deeper Shade of Blue (my all-time favorite music video).

Their UK release of the Buzz CD also has an unbelievably gorgeous ballad, If You Believe, co-written by Cyndi Lauper. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000050IIC/qid=1147095177/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/026-2876538-6203620

A Teens and S Club 7 were pretty much born out of the popularity of Steps, but neither really hit the heights that Steps did during their career.

I did Mama Mia at my Freshman lip-sync. Bell bottoms, blue wigs, and some serious jazz dancing. I still have and listen to one of their CD's.

I also had the Sclub fever!
I STILL love STEPS!! "my boot scootin baby is driving me crazy..."
