What are we classified as?
Oh, yeah. Adults.
Forgot.
And Aigoo, I am not trying to be snarky - I am just curious.
I am an American who happens to be Jewish.
I know, I was kidding. I am just sick of this whole thing already.
Hmm, liotte, you are batting 1000 tonight.
I was actually kidding as well.
Lets talk about something else . . .
So liotte, what shows are you going to see this upcoming weekend, since you did not in fact see in this past weekend?
HEHE.
See if I ever try to be nice and supportive ever again.
Ratbast!rd.
I am calling the kid brigade and calling shenanigans on you!
LOL.
Ok, I'm sick of this thread. We've all made our points.
Let's allow Rob to read it and let it die.

Well, I guess she actually enjoys the limelight!
I'll enjoy the limelight when I do the times square camera thing. But this arguing, especially repetitive comments, are just getting on my nerves.
In quite a few of the comments there have been subtle yet important distinctions. I will reiterate my main point though, the "adult board" just means so many different things to people I do not think it will ever work as such. There have been many valid ideas expressed here.
Iflit, while I respect your opinion on many topics, how the Student Board is viewed by the Moderators, current and past, is a topic you know nothing about. While it might be your preception that moving threads there was/is "punishment" [your word], that is not the case. Threads are moved there are those that the Moderators believe, in their own discretion, belong there.
This is completely untrue. How do you justify moving all those "Buy Nike Shoes!" threads onto the Student Board if you put so much careful thought into it? Those didn't belong anywhere on BWW, but instead of deleting the threads completely, you moved them to the Student Board for the posters there to read around. I agree with CostumeMistress- you treated the Student Board like a Recycle Bin for all the threads you didn't want to deal with, and thought no one would miss.

I havent seen any arguing in a bunch of pages.....
....and afterall, isn't a healthy, intelligent, adult conversation what you were looking for with this thread? You got what you wanted and now you don't seem to want it anymore.
For once, I'm not being a bitch with that comment. Merely stating the obvious.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
What I wanted, when I first started out, was a thread for a conversation with other adults. That didn't happen, since a bunch of teenagers immediately jumped in complaining. This thread took a different direction from what I had wanted, and I think it was beneficial to hear everyone's perspectives. But now, I think we have heard everyone, with some people saying the same things over and over. And yes, there have been some differing of opinions (sorry, arguing may not have been the right word). I think a few of your comments towards me in this thread have been bitchy. Everyone has the right to their opinion. You stated in the other thread (can't everyone just get along) that if you state your opinion, back it up, and you will respect that even if you don't agree. So fine, you don't agree with me on this one, and think I am immature for starting this thread and continuing this discussion. I think you are a bitch and acting like one of the teenagers with your snotty comments and higher-than-thou attitude.

You're right. I have been a bitch. That last post though? That was a legitimate question. Healthy conversation will ALWAYS come with a differing of opinions.
My comments, however snotty you may find them, have been cohesive thoughts WITH points, unlike some of the other posts within this thread (and hell, on the board as a whole).
By the way, resorting to name calling ( I think you are a bitch and acting like one of the teenagers with your snotty comments and higher-than-thou attitude) is VERY mature liotte. I applaud you for YOUR maturity. Bravo. I wish everyone else on the board was like you.
.....God, I couldnt even type that with a straight face.
And for the record if you're going to insult me you could at LEAST get the insult correct. It's HOLIER than thou attitude.

I was just using your word. And you're right, name calling is immature. So is provoking someone because you disagree and want to call them out so you seem smart and almighty and want the other person to look stupid. And that is called being a bitch. And though you may not have meant for your statement
("....and afterall, isn't a healthy, intelligent, adult conversation what you were looking for with this thread? You got what you wanted and now you don't seem to want it anymore.

to be bitchy, most of your other posts were.
Edit to your edit: Perhaps I am religious, and feel like the word "holier" should not be used, especially when insulting another person. Higher-than-thou works just fine for me.

I wasn't provoking you, I was asking a question. In my other posts, I was merely showing a difference of opinion. Most of my posts on this thread happened when you weren't even here and really, aside from that first one and my last 2, they werent even directed towards you.
For the record, I never profess to be almighty. I will not start a religious debate (or discussion at all, mostly because it's 2:15am), but the only almighty is God.... so I'm really in no delusional position to be professing myself as almighty.
As for smart, well I dont need to be a bitch to you to make myself "seem smart".

In addition, in regards to your edit I am religious as well. Holier than thou is STILL the correct phrase, whether you're religious or an athiest.

Well seeing that I have never met you, and find many of your online comments snarky and provoking, that's how I took this one as well. And I have been here and keeping up with this thread just fine, I just don't have the need to keep repeating myself.
I'll agree with you on this- it's good to have thought provoking discussions and differences of opinion, it makes for a very interesting and (though snarky) also fun message board.

I'm not snarky, Im blunt. I call a spade a spade and it's very seldom (unless it comes in terms of business and then that's a different story) that I will hold my tongue and not tell you at least a PORTION of what Im thinking about you or a situation.
Take that however you will; bitchy, snotty, etc, but I just tell it like it is. And I have limited patience for whining and complaining.

Blunt is fine. Rudeness is just rude, no need to be mean. There's enough bad stuff going on in the world without more hate over stupid things (like semantics).
"And I have limited patience for whining and complaining."
As do I, refer back to page one and read through the 20 pages of this thread.

Of all the threads to continue on and on, this wouldn't necessarily get my vote to be top at the list.
Unless, of course, everybody is just needing a venue to vent. But really, I have to wonder what it is that this is building toward.
