And the released picture of Helena Bonham is NOT exaggerated.

Oh, wow! Thanks.
I'm less skeptical about Depp as the Mad Hatter now. Visually, it looks very very appealling. I can't wait to see it in 3D. :)

Hmmm....looks pretty good

It sounds like Johnny is putting on his Capt. Jack persona for the role.
Okay, now I can't wait!
I'm less skeptical about the whole thing now.
Alice looks too old.

Never been a huge fan of the Depp/Burton combo, but this sounds perfect for them.
Thanks for posting.

I know what you mean, SNAFU, but I loved the Fiona Fullerton Alice when I was a kid, so it doesn't bother me.
O......M.........G - I am soooo excited for this!!!!!!
WHYYYY does every movie have to be in 3D????? WHOSE idea was it to try and bring this back???
I am stoked. I've never been a Tim Burton fan, and I only like Johnny Depp in about fifty percent of his movies, but it's been so long since they had a film version of Alice in Wonderland. I think the actress who plays Alice is gorgeous. The only thing that scares me is, my friend told me that the Mad Hatter was supposed to be Alice's love interest in this one?
That's kinda like when MGM wanted to make Hunk (aka Scarecrow) Dorothy's love interest in the Kansas sequence. That's why she later tells him she's gonna miss him "most of all," which I always found odd.
Yeah, I've heard that as well, Schmerg. It's a tad bit creepy...to say the least.

Now all I can think of is that Family Guy take off, where Dorothy says to Scarecrow, "I'll miss you most of all," and the others call her a big fart.

Sorry to be the party pooper but this looks like a bunch of CGI wankery.

The art direction, as usual with all Burton movies, looks stunning. I'm excited to see how Mia Wasikowska (Alice) is, who is very good on the first season of In Treatment.
Alice is 18 in this movie, keep that in mind.
I can't wait for this!
Darn, I was hoping for a shot of Alan Rickman as the caterpillar, but I guess the cgi isn't done yet. He seems perfect for the role although it might be weird to think of the caterpillar as sexy (because that man can make anything sexy)! Christopher Lee is supposed to be in the film as well, though his character is still unknown.
I like how it looks so far. The shot of Crispin Glover was great. I just hope that Tim Burton doesn't go too far, like I thought he did with Willy Wonka. His darker concepts and visuals are cool, but sometimes I feel they cross into the realm of camp which really takes me out of the film.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it looks exactly like you'd imagine Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. His movies are still eccentric, but there's not much surprising about them anymore
I have to say, I love the trailer up until they showed Johnny Depp... I loved how they made him look, but I did not like any of what they showed of his acting in that role. The rest of it looked amazing though!
I heard from a friend of mine who has been following the movie that it doesn't follow the plot of the book.
************SPOILER*************
Apparently the Mad Hatter proposes to Alice at the tea party.
I can't find a video at all. Maybe my browser is screwed. I tried both firefox and ie.
JerseyGirl2, it's getting taken down on a lot of websites because it leaked early, but it's still up on firstshowing.net if you hurry...
