She looks like she's modeling a Simplicity Pattern in that one.

i also love JUDY GARLAND SPEAKS!

i know many people do not, they feel that its exploitive & cruel to release those recordings to the public. i feel its in how you look at it...if you are laughing AT Judy, you are an awful terrible evil cold-hearted person.

But if you are really listening, Judy has a lot of wisdom & humor to pass on.

i love it because its such an intimate sound; its just you & Judy. She gets to show her dry sense of wit, she gets to express her pain & frustration. sometimes she slurs or shouts, but for the most part, it is very comforting for me to just lie down & listen to Judy speak.

it made me love her even more.

& of course, there's so many funny lines..."i have the tenacity of a praying mantis!!!"

n69n - I've heard of these recordings, but haven't actually heard them myself. I have to admit I find them intriguing.

The family tried to stop them. They were never intended to circulation. I wish the people who are making money off them would curl up and die.

well, anyone who laughs *AT* them is evil & cruel...but i think they are very comforting.

& show a side of her humor that i hadnt seen before.

i love ther story about 10 year old Liza coming home, all indignant & demanding, "what is this about everyone *KNOWS* Judy Garland?!?! they dont know you, Mama! *I* dont know you! ..& i never will!!!"
