I LOVE this reality show, don't you? I just find it fun and interesting to watch. I recently bought America's Next Top Model: Cycle One(which is season 1) from amazon.com market and got a GREAT deal and LOVE the DVD set.
Anyways, I guess that's all that's available on DVD right now. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase other seasons at? I already checked ebay.
I also already went the VH1's website and tried to find when they were going to be having another marathon, but I couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know when they'll be having another marathon?
No idea. Does the US get "Life" network? The re-runs air every day in Canada. I'm a big fan too, especially seasons 1, 2 and 4. I thought the best models were 1 and 2 though.
Hah...Tiff,
I spent every night watching the reruns at midnight for the last week I was home. So addictive.

So does that mean we have LIFE in the U.S.A.? Assuming you are from the U.S.A.
ANTM is my biggest guilty pleasure. Can't wait till next season/cycle!
The reruns on VH1 are fabulous.
omgosh, yes, i do watch this show. the ultimate guilty pleasure. especially when the marathons are on VH1. hehehe
Oh, sorry, MTVMANN, I meant in my post that Canada has Life (that's what Link Larkin Wannabe was making reference to) but I didn't know if the US has it.
I'm in the US and have a lot of cable, but I've never heard of "Life"...
We've got Lifetime, which is good if you want to watch bad TV movies about children sniffing glue and the evils of pornography...
Gawd, I love ANTM. I'm totally applying for the next cycle (after the next) just so I can say I did. I have wasted so many countless hours watching the marathons...it's definitely addictive.
And BluCat, I love Lifetime with a passion. "She's Too Young" has got to be the best TV movie ever created.
Human Trafficking was the only "Lifetime" movie I watched. It wasn't too bad, but it had a lot of the stereotypical "Lifetime" qualities in there.
I really liked Yoanne, Adrienne, April and Elyse from the first two seasons. Oh, and Mercedes.
Was the male version of this, I think it was called Manhunt, any good? I never got a chance to see it. I kind of wanted to applye for it, but I dont think it ever did a second season.

Greatest show ever. I loved Nicole, Naima, and Eva. Not too fond of Adrienne. I missed season 2.
I LOVED Manhunt! It wasn't as good as ANTM, the men were sleazy and pretty much exemplified why women give up on your gender altogether, but they were good looking to be sure.
I don't think there was a second season. It wasn't even very good. I just watched because they were hot!
Do you guys remember the first episode of season 4 and there was a plus-sized hispanic girl, I think her name was Melissa. She made it all the way to semi-finals, but I would have LOVED to have seen her be a finalist. There were saying stuff like, well it isn't really fair to put her in because everyone else is not plus-sized......
but remember Season 1?????? They had Robin and she was plus-sized and her was 3rd runner up. Robin was an interesting case and definately a testament to the fact that reality T.V. loves someone with a personality to cause trouble(like that apprentice girl Omarosa or whatever).
I loved this show, but why did Trya always make it SO dramatic during elimination, i couldn't help but laugh after a while.
"There are four beautiful girls standing infront of me...but I only hold three pictures in my hand."

I think Robyn and Omarosa hit notoriety at the same time, because I remember thinking that they started the reality stereotype of the psychotic bitchy African-American woman. Sucked.
Remember season...2...where they had that size 6 Mom who wouldn't pose nude because she wanted to be "Christ-like"? And she was called plus-size!
On season 4, one girl, whose name has left my memory, was always told she had no upper lip and needed one. I kinda agree.
I have been a fan for yeeeehs, darling. After last year's tepid season--Naima? Bitch, please.--this season kicked it into high gear with the crazy drunk from LA, the skeezy drag from Tucson, and--that old standby--the holier-than-thou black diva. And the divine lesbian Kim, who SO should have won!!! Meanwhile, Tyra's ego is running amok with increasing shamelessness and her "big sister" routine is becoming less and less convincing....here's a drinking game: Every time one of the pictures reminds Tyra of a shoot SHE did way back when, take a drink.
And could somebody please kick Miss Jay in the ass? His comments on my Kim pissed me off: "She's too androgynous and she's irritating". Bitch, have you watched yourself on this show?????
OOOOH, I can't wait for next season!!!
i love miss jay! "child, bring that chin DOWN. i can see right up your nose. i can see what you're thinking."
i think tocarra is by far the most attractive person i've seen on this show and she lost some weight on celeb fit club and she is smokon' hot. i loved elyse from season 1. she has a blog. and yes, she is a beeeyotch. yoanna apparently has an eating disorder and looks like crap which is why you haven't seen her on the reunion show. ann "the man" markley has been the most successful girl on the runway. she has walked in major shows in new york, LA and milan. "that is so naima" or "that's a naima": became a phrase that meant something was lame, but all the other choices were lamer. i hate that this show has krept into my vocabulary. i didn't enjoy the last season so much. it's just too attention whore-ing even for me. the peeing in the diaper thing? i hate that girls gone wild thing. i love fierce fashion camp-fests.

I was wondering whatever happened to Yoanna! Such a beautiful face she had! Thanks for the gossip, although I'm sad it involves an eating disorder. I have to check out Elyse's blog...
(I love this show, too, obviously...)
Poor Yoanna. She was my favorite winner...what a beauty!
Can you put up the link to Elyse's blog?
google elyse sewell and you will find all sorts of stuff on her...
