THEME 4-12-05

anthony and scott DEFINITELY should have gone before nadia.

THEME 4-12-05

I wish they'd get a genuine, quality rocker on the show. I was not impressed w/ Freebird, though it did get better as it went along. I maintain that neither of the "rockers" really rock, and Constantine is funnier, so I pick him over Bo.

Scott?? This is a mystery. Who's voting for him? I don't get it. His Against All Odds tonight was the most animated I've seen him the whole compitition. He usually seems sluggish and comatose. Though I'm hoping if he's still kicking around he keeps his lippy shtick up, because frankly, there's nothing else that I find all that redeeming about him (at least if he gets bitchy that's something!)

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

THEME 4-12-05

I know, Bo has about as much edge has Nick Carter, but I have to root for someone, and I refuse to let it be Constantine The Greasy Smirky Bastard.

THEME 4-12-05

I'm fine with Scott staying. I think Nadia should still be there, too. It's Anwar and Constantine I want the hell out!

THEME 4-12-05

I don't care for Anwar much either, but I do think he's very pretty. I really like his style. Not that that should mean anything, but if they're keeping people that I don't really care for, I'd just assume it be the ones who are pretty to look at. *guilty shrug* I actually don't really care for any of them, come to think of it. I guess if I were to pick two favorites, I'd say Kerry and Vonzel. I don't know where they came up w/ all this "the best group we've had yet" business. Granted, I didn't watch last year, so I can't really compare this lot to them, but...still.

THEME 4-12-05

SOOOOOOOOO bummed Nadia's gone! With Simon leading the boo's last night, I guess I'm not surprised. TWICE he alluded to Nadia having to go.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Whatever, I prefer this year to last. Everybody sings better than who won, last year. All she does is scream.

THEME 4-12-05

Yeah, Fantasia's the only one I've seen from last season (doing the press circuit). I don't care for her at all, but from what I've heard there were others who were much better. What's her name? Jennifer Hudson? And whoever came in 2nd (was that Jennifer or someone else?)...I don't know.

Bo's Response Last Night

I'm no big fan of the Bo, but I absolutely loved his nonchalant "what the hell" response to Ryan's over-the-top "oh my god what will you do if you get voted off" question last night. He's 29, folks, not 18, and his attitude of "I'll just go back to what I was doing and I did all of this on a bet, anyway" answer what letter-perfect. Seacrest gets more over the top every elimination show (probably at the behest of the producers), and Bo's "whatever" answer seemed to throw him for a loop. Good for him.

Bo's Response Last Night

I agree. I liked Bo's answer as well. But I don't think it's going to endear him to the judges or the fans. So I hope he meant it.

Bo's Response Last Night

It was only a matter of time for Nadia anyway. It's just too bad that we have to endure Scott for another week. So Scott was safe before Bo? Bo and Nadia were the bottom 2?

Bo's Response Last Night

Yep. Scott was the first one called down, then Bo, then Nadia. Scott was the first one sent back to the couches. Unbelievable!

I think Kelly's been the best of the AI winners...eventhough her first CD was ummmm, not great. I love her 2nd CD though!

Bo's Response Last Night

um bo's answer was great. I love that man and hope he stays a little longer, at least longer than scott!
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

I agree w/ your picks for the bottom three, bdwaygirl. That's definitely who I'd pick if I were in charge. I was also very impressed w/ Bo, who usually does nothing for me.
