Next week the theme will be Country music. What are John Stevens and the Jasmine going to sing? It might be painfuuuuullllllll but definitely fun to watch!

This is why I don't like to watch American Idol (and yet somehow can't stop)...all the talented people get cut! It reminds me too much of MY career. I mean, the red headed Dean Martin boy is cuter than a bug's ear but COME ON! And what is with that boring spazz with the tired, TIRED dyed red hair? She has no business being there! UGH! I'll never watch American Idol again...until I do, of course.

After last night's results show, the top 12 majorly paled in comparison to Clay Aiken. I need a clip of his "Solitaire" performance from last night, pronto ...

I definitely don't think Jennifer should have been in the bottom three. The judges said the audience didn't "connect" with her song choice (Baby I Love You) but I really liked it. George is excellent and I hope he gets into at least the top 5- I'm glad he got rid of the mustache!!

It really annoys me how they draw everything out so much- saying they'll announce something "after the next break' and it's really after four more commercial breaks. Also, telling someone (Leah & Jennifer) they were the bottom two of twelve, and then making them sing, is just mean. But it's all TV, and they're getting huge national exposure, so whatever, I guess.

I am rooting for Diana and Fantasia. Fantasia has a wonderful, and seems like such a fun person. Diana has is amazing....She is just 16, and OMG what a voice!!! I still can't understand why anyone voted for John Stevens, I can't stand him. He is one of the least versatile singers I have ever heard (Although he is a good Frank Sinarta/Dean Martin impersonator). Also, why does everyone think that Jasmine will win...Yes she is good, but if you even try to compare her to Diana, well there isn't much of a comparison. Jasmine has a nice voice, but she is a times quite pitchy and off on some of her notes, and Diana nails every one of her performances. I will however be interested in hearing Diana sing a song that shows of some of the softer qualities of her voice! Anyhoo, that's all for me.

Diana blew me away yet again! I loved George too. I voted for them about 40 times each!!!! I also threw in a few votes for Camille, Jasmine, and Jennifer. They weren't the best last night, but, i'd still like to see them stick arou8nd.
Amy was awesome! I voted for her about 20 times =)
LaToya was awesome, i voted for her a few times even tho I dont think she needs it. I think Fantasia has a very good voice, but, she sounds more and more like Macy Grey each week! Kind of irritating sometimes.

JOHN STEVENS SUCKS!! OMG could his face be any more blank when he sings!?! Zero personaility, and his voice is nowhere near good enough to be in this top 12. I swear, I have never hated a contestant this much before!! Even last season when everyone was hating on Carmen, I still thought she was cute!!
John needs to go. End of story. I can't stand him for one more week!!!!
so those are my thoughts on last night. All I can say is, John better be leaving tonight!

My fav is Fantasia. I thought LaToya, Amy, Diana, Jennifer and George did great, too. The rest---oh my. Quite a few SUCKED.

Jon is interesting though-he almost looks a little like Conan O'Brian! His voice is so weird that it's almost good. True, he has no personality, but I wouldn't mind if he stuck around in the competition a little longer just for the 'weirdness' value.
