Someone without even a basic understanding of human psychology recently asked me if my "devotion" to Alec Baldwin came from my "liking" the more narcissistic aspects of his personality.

What this non-genius failed to recognize is, humans have more of a tendency to hate people who exhibit traits similar to their own. See also, narcissistic personality disorder.

you dont even know me, if you did youd know that i love everyone the same... well except terrorists (sorry Namo) and criminials in general. i live in Brooklyn which i would bet the farm on is a lot more diverse then Watertown.

Am i confident? Direct? Think Im attractive? Yes. its called self confidence. maybe its a russian trait, we take no prisoners when attacked and are not wallflowers or doormats, but I make no apologies.

you dont like me only because im not a leftist/socialist like you. thats the bottom line. If you came from former soviet union, you would understand why that is so distasteful. however i do not hold that against you, im hoping as you get older and make money or possibly own a business you will learn.

Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence or strong self-esteem, it's not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence and self-esteem into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal. In contrast, people who have healthy confidence and self-esteem don't value themselves more than they value others.
