Martin Luther King was known for combating racial inequality.
He must be spinning in his grave if he would know about the fact that people are doing the exact opposite today. How would he feel about creating own movies, own oscars, own benches in the bus for African American people?
I personally think he would like the idea of "mixing" better. But feel free to disagree.
Now if this would have been necessary to achieve a feel of equality, or give a certain group of people more self-esteem, in spite of the unhealthy separation, I could understand it. But given the fact that every race is perfectly represented at the normal Oscars statistically (and beyond) I wonder what is going on. Equality is not enough?

I understand it perfectly. Do your homework before you react please. The satistics of African American Oscar winners in the last years are 3% higher than the statistics of the actual population. Which is great. To me at least.

If you deliberately make a fool* out of yourself in this way, you actually deservere ridicule in my opinion.

Nicki Minaj the performer in these videos is a character. It does not sum up who she is as a person, it's meant to be fun. You don't have to like it, that's fine, but to use it essentially sum up her entire worth. Or are we going to start acting like every person an actor plays is actually themselves and how dare they take such awful roles and present themselves as such?

Actually, judging anyone based on race, weight, etc is wrong, That's why I NEVER do that and I am always surprised by people who do it. People who insist on separate benches in the bus for certain races, people who insist on separate awards just for black people, and people who have lyrics in their clips such as: "F*CK skinny bitches".
It's all discrimination one way or the other.
