Anchorman

I work at a movie theatre and I get to see movies the midnight before they open. Soooo I saw Anchorman last night and it was (no joking) one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. I was highly doubting the funny factor when I went in, but it was simply hilarious.
For those of you that like Dodgeball, or basically anything that WIll Farell does, GO SEE IT. That is all.

Maybe who knows. But I'd rather go see Spiderman for the thrird time than see Will Farell's ass again...

Will is developing a reputation for getting naked a lot. surely they won't let him be naked as Franz in THE PRODUCERS film...

I can't bear Will Ferrell either. Empire Magazine ran a feature on him when Starsky & Hutch opened and the headline was "The Funniest Man You've Never Heard Of." This caused me to channel Karen Walker and intone "Honey, do you know how many things are wrong with that sentence?"

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I like Will Ferrell, and hopefully this'll turn out to be like Dodgeball. Because when I went to see Dodgeball I was thinking to myself "Thank God I'm not paying to see this movie because it is going to be the dumbest thing I'll see in my lifetime." And it was. But it was stupid in a way that makes you laugh hysterically. Like Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Or Spaceballs. Those movies are nothing but silliness, and they're two of my favorites...

Anchorman was HILLARIOUS. It was like a long, really good SNL skit. Will Ferell is not naked in this movie....THANK GOD, although he is in one shot with just his undies, but it is like only for a milisecond. The funniest person in the movie wasn't even Will Ferell. It was the guy that was on THE DAILY SHOW and BRUCE ALMIGHTY. That performace was princeless. It is in no way better than Spider-Man, but I wouldn't mind going to see it again.
