(Since I had a double post...) And speaking of NBC's Sue -- she said "what the f--k" last night. Check out Huff post.

I was shocked because usually she's cool as a cucumber and collected.

This can't be true! Our Sue, who is the picture of traditional femininity, using coarse vulgarities?
Never...
That's true, hard to believe.
She's an idiot. Always has been.

And in my mind, 'the F word' is not a 'curse'. It is a vulgarity.
A curse is something like a compound word with God as the first part. Even "Holy Moses!" is technically a curse. Various quick vulgarisms for bodily waste and sexual congress are not 'curses'.
The New York Post is a vulgarity.

I love how wound-up adults get about a word.
It's so... mature.
Another sure sign Armeggdon is approaching - Sue Simmons using the F word & proving she is human.
This is GWB's fault

And by "a word" I don't mean derogatory slang used for ethnicity or that has a history of oppression or unrest. That I can understand being offensive or hurtful.
I mean a four-letter zinger.

Who was she talking to?

my guess is it was directed at Chuck. In the beginning of the clip he isn't even looking at the camera like he's supposed to.
she probably beat the crap out of him afterwards.
can't believe they're still on nbc 4 in ny. it's almost comforting to know.
had no clue about the rumors regarding sue though.
I like her. I like her a lot.
The report said it was because the wrong video was being shown.
And was she suspended? I thought I heard Whoopi say that today.
No doubt Brent Bozell is starting his letter writing campaign as we type.
I emailed to lend my support...I used to like her...now I love her.
I just wish I'd seen her face when she realized what she'd done!
People complaining to NBC need to get over themselves. It's not even like she said it deliberately so they could hear. She's human, big deal.

Didn't Channel 2 fire Arthur Chien for cursing on the air at some guy who f**ked up one his stories? I think he's on Channell 11 now.
They played it on Letterman last night.
He was doubled over with laughter, and found it so funny he played it twice. Then said something about, "I hope she doesn't apologize because it was funny."
How can I make it my ring tone?

Today's NY Post ran a story about how Sue has developed a serious drinking problem.
How many times do I have to warn people about the Perils of Alcohol?
If she was drunk, her diction was spot on!
Better than George Bush can do.
I used to see her enjoying a margie at the old CARUMBA! in the 80s. She was hardly drunk. And I wasn't exactly sipping branch water with my veggie burrito, so who am I to judge?

The question is: why is being a news reader so stressful that she needs to be dropping the F-bomb?
It is very stressful, actually.
The latest is that the f-bomb was indeed intended for her co-anchor. They both thought the tease was being taped, not aired live, and he wasn't paying attention while she was doing it.
