Troubled comedian Andy Dick insists that he is not gay, even though he's been sexually intimate with men. The Employee Of The Month star recently completed his seventh stint in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse and claims he is an easy target for the tabloid media. He tells the Washington Post, "I'm not even gay! Last year, it was anal warts, which I don't have. This year, it's AIDS and gay. Which I don't have and I'm not. No and no. Just because I've been with guys, and I'm bi(sexual), doesn't mean I'm gay." Dick claims people are jealous of his success and his liberal attitude: "They really love to jump down my throat and rake me across the coals. Just love it. People love to hate. I have a love-hate relationship with the world. The world loves to hate me. It really seems that way now. It all boils down to jealousy. People are upset that they can't do what I do. They hold back. They see me not holding back."

LOL! I know a guy who lost his virginity to Andy Dick.
Charming.
I worked with Andy when he joined our Second City touring company, years ago. He used to bring his pet poodle with him to rehearsals.
Swear to God.
I think he thought he was Dorothy Brock or something.
So Dick is straight?
Eww... losing ones virginity to Andy Dick....now there's a disgusting thought
My would someone who identifies as bisexual be offended by being called gay?
I wonder why he thinks anyone is actually interested?
And he really is a......well, his last name. What a no talent bugger.
HA!
No joke...
he has hit on three of my male friends - on three seperate occasions.
and you would think "hit on" means a just a pickup line- oh no.

Andy Dick and his son
are good Buds
I guess folks will just have to trust rehab denizen Andy Dick when he insists that there's nothing wrong with his underage son Lucas drinking a beer in public.
"No, no, no - he's not an alcoholic like me," Dick told Lowdown at the Meatpacking District premiere party for his latest movie, "Employee of the Month," as 18-year-old Lucas stood nearby swigging Budweiser from a bottle. "He'll have one beer and be done with it. He's been drinking. I'm not going to try to control him. I can't say anything, because he's doing better than me. Who am I to slap his wrists? I learn from him."
The 40-year-old comedian - who's notorious for occasional alcohol-fueled bad behavior - wore the same black-on-black Converse sneakers as his son.
"He's really great," Lucas' dad gushed. "Every time I go anywhere with him, I immediately say, 'This is my son,' because it looks like we're lovers because he's so handsome."
Lest anyone be confused, Dick is dating a Los Angeles painter named Wendy.
Andy Dick
I just have to jump in and say in my experience Andy's heart is usually in the right place. Yes, he's a bit of a nut job, but a sweet one. I think given the things he’s been through, it’s a miracle he’s just bizarre and zany.
- and he gives those around him lots of funny and interesting stories to tell their friends, so he can’t be all bad.
There's a difference between gay and bi?
I missed that memo.
There is no such thing as being bisexual - it's just being greedy.
"I think given the things he’s been through, it’s a miracle he’s just bizarre and zany."
Well, given his own comments about his son and his experience in rehab, it sounds like he's not just "bizarre and zany".
"Dick claims people are jealous of his success and his liberal attitude"
Um....right. I started hating him when I saw him participating in the celebrity episode of Trading Spaces. And getting shredded on Pamela Anderson's celebrity roast. God, I wish that was me! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I was never huge fan of Dick.

what jumps out at me from Jim's post and pic above is "40 yr old". WHOOOOOAAAAAA looks like hell for 40. If that's 40 that makes me 31.
There is a difference between being gay and bi. And maybe the reason it bothers him is because he currently has a girlfriend--so to label him as only gay denies the validity of his relationship. It implies that she is just a beard--that they have a phony relationship. How would you feel if people were talking that way about your relationship?
"He's really great," Lucas' dad gushed. "Every time I go anywhere with him, I immediately say, 'This is my son,' because it looks like we're lovers because he's so handsome."
I find this repulsive. I couldnt care less what he is or calls himself, but referring to your kid that way...seems icky.
Well, I do think he's overreacting a bit. First of all, it's Los Angeles and it's the media. Invalid gossip is as old as the entertainment industry. Secondly, "the world loves to hate me"? Um...delusions of grandeur, perhaps? Thirdly, when I hear a guy talk about his sexual exploits with another man, I don't immediately think, "Oh, he must be bi!" Yes, I'd be jumping to conclusions to think that he was gay, but I don't think it's particularly irrational or so incredibly offensive.
But thank God for Andy setting the record straight (so to speak)! Now the world will love to love him in his hour of self-pity.
"He's really great," Lucas' dad gushed. "Every time I go anywhere with him, I immediately say, 'This is my son,' because it looks like we're lovers because he's so handsome."
Again, delusions of grandeur. I'm not sure I would jump to that conclusion, either.
